I don't know why it was doing that. It seemed to stop for a while. If it starts crashing again, I'll do what you guys said. Thanks for giving me suggestions on what to do.

I downloaded some community lots, installed them with Sims2 Package Installer, and now they're in my game forever. It crashed when the game was loading the first time, the second time it crashed while a family was loading. I downloaded off of MTS2. Is there a way to take back buildings to make my game work again? I just had my game on before I installed the lots, so it has to be something about the lots..

edit: It just happened again when another family in another neighborhood was loading. *scream*

I was told it conflicted with OFB because of the door changes that it had (probably the reason is because the door changed to let staff in or out also). I had a boarding school, so I don't know if I had your problems. But I did have a problem going to community lots. The time speed would explode into the third level and wouldn't stay on the level I switched it to. I would pull the mod to see if it works anyways, but I'm curious: Are you also having this problem with time?

I had to delete mine. It's such a shame too. Simlogical.com has so many great things that I can't use, particularly the school and prison stuffs.

It says it's using winRAR, I think. I already had it, but I reinstalled it and it didn't ask me to buy or anything? Anyways, about half of the skins I get from MTS2 won't work. Oh well, probably just bad files.

How do I get it to show up in the Save File As thing? All the choices are are RAR and All Files. I really need some help here. Sometimes the thing shows up, sometimes it doesn't. I need the Sims2PackFile, but they come up as a regular RAR file. I don't know how to change them into Sims2Pack files with the little program thingy. Because I was screwing around trying to fix it, all of my RAR files are now Adobe Reader files, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Please help.. I'm very afraid to open my game right now.

Oh jeez, 100 gigs of files? Wow. Wait, you say that you didn't play with everything all at once. Why..? How do I see how big a downloads file is, and how big it can hold? I think I may have broke mine if there's a limit to how many someone can put in. I DO know that it took about half an hour to back up my game files before I installed SimPE.

Every time I download a sim (I get my sims from MTS2), the file is a RAR file instead of a Sims2 package file, so I can't get the sims into my game. If there is a help thing for this, I apologize for not seeing it.
If any more info is needed about my problem feel free to ask!

Oh my gosh! It's working! Sorry for over-using the exclaimation marks, but my game is working! I deleted all of the school stuff and went to a community lot. The game speed is 100% normal.

P.S: So it's just the hacks that are causing it? If I re-install everything after backing up my folders then would it be ok just to take out the hack files? I have most of the RAR files in another file, which might not take as long as taking them all out one at a time and adding 100 files every so often. Here are all of the hacks I'm sure I have:

Lots of vampire hacks. I think I have: as clear override, vampire sunscreen which is perfume stuff from NL, and the one where vampires are forced to stay inside their coffins until you let them out.I know, WAY too many hacks, right?
Do any of these kill each other? Are any not ok with any EPs up to Pets? (Besides OFB, I installed that after the bug occurred)

Ones I have:
Uni: I sometimes make sims go to college, but I always get bored with the CC I have and forget about them. I wouldn't get this one unless you want to download a bunch of lots. Many lots require you have this EP.

NL: You need this! It makes romance more realistic (kind of). At least it gives something else to the game. And you get vampires, which I've had a bunch of fun with.

OFB: I personally hate all of the stuff that came with OFB. I never use any of the store stuff, and the only thing I use is the new things I can download off of the internet.

Pets: This is a biggie if you want cats and dogs. The bad part is that you can't control the animals. This means that they tear up your houses and barge into any Community lot to distract all of the uncontrollable people. Plus the Strays come into your home every half a minute, which means that you get a whole new file of townie animals! Isn't this what everone needs? More townies? Birds and hammies also come with it, but they always die in a matter of days. Half of the clothes you can download require Pets Bodyshop now, which is a really good reason to buy it.

Seasons: I wish I could buy this but I have too many hacks that I can't live without.

Obviously I live for the custom content and I'm paranoid about my game.

Two vampires have a child, who I age up to teen with the Insim. When he gets to Inteen I see that he doesn't like sunlight, although his parents never bit him. (I didn't do anything either, I swear! No hacks involved with his vampirism.) This kid might have inherited the vampire gene for some odd reason. His walk options include stalk and Fly Here. His grandparents and aunt were all vampires also.

Is this some sort of bug, a hack mix-up, or a miracle? 0_0
