The cheat is:
boolProp allow45degreeangleofrotation true
 
type it exactly like that,
then when you click on your intended content, all you do is select it with one click of the mouse, do not hold the mouse button down. Then, using your < & > keys on your keyboard, position the item in the direction you choose. Then click after you decide.

I am not sure if this will help you, but you can try and see if it works.
Go to your start menu, then click on control panel.
In control panel, locate your system icon and open it.
In the system menu, you will see the Advanced tab, click on it.
Under the list of visual effects, processor schedule, memory usage, and virtual memory, click on settings,
in settings,
make sure you choose the button for best performance.
This will change the way most everything looks, but it will let your computer operate and concentrate more on what it has to do and not the way things look or are used.

One tip I have for you. If you do not have an updated graphics card, that may have an added amount of memory, it can also cause the slowing down.
