Have you tried the sims 2 hack conflict detection utility? to check for a possible mod conflict.
 
And to catch butterflies and Fireflies, just put the cursor on them and click "catch".

That may require new animations, if so, It can't be done.

You need to put it in your downloads folder. You will need to read the first page of this Thread to find out which version you need to download, as I don't know which EPs you have.

If it doesn't find a conflict then what you are left with is removing all your downloads. I move them to a file named "testing" on my desk top and move them in a few at a time and test. Then on to the next group, If I find a conflict I move that group into a "conflict" file and keep going. Then I test the ones in the "conflict file" a few at a time until I find the problem.

Then I would look in the Control Panel under Add/Remove programs, and see if FFS still shows up, if it does try removing it from there. This is all I have ever had to do to get rid of a program.

I am going to assume by in the normal way means you clicked on the file and sent it to the trash can? If so, that is your problem. When you want a game or program removed, you need to Uninstall, or Remove the Program. You might try re-installing, then Uninstalling the FFS.

You can always "say Goodbye " to them In the Pie menu and they will go home.

Clothes and Hair are not always safe, and sometimes lots come with hacks if you use Clean installer you can remove them before you Install it. I have had a shirt crash my game before. Best thing to do is name a folder testing, put it on your desktop and Move all downloads into it, then move a few at a time back into your game and test in between. If no problem that group is safe. Go on until one messes it up, remove that group to another folder and keep going, then weed out the problem from the other folder on thing at a time. It is time consuming but it works usually.

If you are looking for the Pregnant Women Wear Anything Hack, then: On the first page of this thread. Make sure you read the manual,Download the correct version for your EP's, and If you have Inteen,the EP5 version of  this is not compatible. It is also not Base Game Compatible.
 
If you just want your regular Sims to be able to wear anything , you have to buy them clothes first and a dresser and then click on it to change thier clothes.
