46  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Make Up / 3 Eyelashes, Blush on: May 17, 2007, 08:11:19 am
lookit there!  Our hawk has made something!  And that something is pretty darn good!  The blush is quite nice.

A suggestion on the eyelashes, try making the individual hairs just a little more sheer perhaps?  The individual lashes look slightly too large for being under the eye. I'm not sure how to fix that, except for working on an enlarged texture and resizing it back down once the hand painting is done.

The liner itself looks pretty good, if you are going for the just-applied look.  I'd try to grade the alpha a bit to "smudge" it slightly for a more natural look.

For a "first" item the blush and lashes are better than I could do!

Hey, purpleshoes!
(I love your name!, LOL)

Um... yeah, 7zip is freeware.  Like free to download and use.  WOW.

You can get it here: http://www.7-zip.org/

Winrar can be used as shareware, after 30 days there's a nag box.
But... if you don't mind that you can keep using it.  Here's a link:
http://www.download.com/3000-2250-10007677.html

Or you might want to try Sims2 file maid.  It opens .rars and .zips as well as actually doing the double click for you to open up sim2pack files!  (That's only useful for Sims 2, of course).  If you want to try Sims2 file maid (Also free) you can download it here: http://mattwork.potsdam.edu/projects/SimFileMaid/index2.html

Hopefully you will now be fully armed to use all kinds of sims 2 content.  Having the correct decompression utility opens up new doors for any download junky.  Heck, how can you not have something to open up all your compressed files and play Sims 2?

Quick... It's time for another download spree!  (I've had too much coffee).

Do you have winrar or 7zip?  .rar needs to be extracted.  Inside the rar file is a sim2pack file that should be run through clean installer.

WinZip won't open rar files but I believe that 7zip is freeware.

PS the file opens fine for me and the sim installs just fine in my game.  If it's not the issue of needing to extract the sim2pack file then I'm at a loss.

I just noticed that the pixieJoyless icon says "pixieloveless" only with the writing in brown.  It confused me for a moment until I read that it is a variant of Pixieloveless.  I thought I was going insane.
I want to suggest perhaps placing your skintone specific makeup under the costume makeup tab.  It would make it eaiser to keep track of all the different makeup that you have made.  I must say though, the makeup is very pretty.
Oh and I got a nice close look at the new eyes and wow! they really pop. I think I might have a new favorite brown eye.

More of your eyes will soon be up at the link for the eyes as well as I've fiddled with every single one.

Out of loss comes true beauty.  I do hope you have the finished versions of your others eyes though.  Well, I guess I should mod this pack to be genetic now.

Enayla - If I use your Pixie skins http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=181555 will the genetics work with it?  ie light skin + dark skin = something in between?

Enayla's base skins from here and MTS2 are fully custom and the game does not blend them.  If you would like versions of any of Enayla's skins to function genetically look here: http://www.genensims.com/guest/MadameMim/index.htm

You'll find that Madam Min has provided two versions of Enayla's skins, a genetic custom version and an NPC version.  Fanasty versions of her skins set into 1.00+ range have also been made and Madam Min is kindly hosting them for me.
These are the same skins as Enayla's in every way save one - they work with the Sims2 genetic system.

Thank you so much for uploading the finished version of PixiePearl.  It is beautiful!

Anyone wanting a genetic version of it can get it here:

WOW.  these are awesome.

I did find a glich though.  Pixie Pearl only shows the female adult and young adult face while the other ages, parts, and the male skins are a darker skin tone. Did you by chance post a work in progress version?.

It looks like the majority of the textures included in the package file are actually from the PixieFlirt skin.

I created genetic version of the three other skins and the eyes.  Actually they are the same packages and everything, just with the genetic flag set to something other than 0.  They can be downloaded through my Yahoo.group and are hosted at my 4shared site.  Here's a driect link:

Did you check in accessories for the horns? They are in the game under glasses.  I put the horn meshes in my downloads folder with my other stuff from Beosboxboy and the recolors with the Enayla skins and they work fine, but I do have to place them like a pair of glasses.
No, you don't have to use the horns if you don't want them.

Nope, it's not a replacer.  You need to search over at MTS2 to see if some one has made it into one if that's what you want.  Otherwise this skin is just a very pale custom skin.

I've enabled genetic versions of all Enayla's skins.  the fanasty skins are downloadable through '4shared.' Links can be found to the individual files through my yahoo group.

Again, Enayla, If you want these files to upload here just let me know and they are yours.  I'd love for you to have them.

Enalya, I know it's been a while since you've posted.  It seems that I might have missed my window of oppertunity to communicate with you.  I've modded your skin files to fit into the genetic scale and was wondering if you wanted copies of the altered files.  If you do please contact me.  I'd love for you to place them up for download as your work, seeing as they are.  If you don't mind I'll eventually upload them somplace like rapidshare and post a link (or PM it to you).
