Title: Ooops. Messed Up Lot Zoning in University!
Post by: Shpookiecat on April 27, 2007, 01:56:34 pm
Just started creating a new university last night & in my exuberance, didn't notice until I had completed a really nice dorm, I had the lot zoned community.

You'd think I'd have noticed the phone booth, but didn't! So, I tried to reset it to residential then dorm, but the phone booth is still there and now I can't move in any of my Sim Students. I really love the building too, so if you have any suggestions on how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it!

p.s. I have no problem with using hacks!

Open the cheat box when on the lot, and enter "changelotzoning dorm".  Then exit and re-enter the lot.  That should solve the problem.

Tried that a few times & saved it, but still didn't work. Thanks for your suggestion though!

OK, tried the suggestions multiple times without success, and now,I've done an even bigger OOOOOOOPS.

I deleted the phone booth & commercial garbage can, so hopefully, when I do find the replacements, I'll be able to get that lot working again. Darn, loved that dorm too :(

Keep your fingers crossed - just hope my ooops turns out for the best!
