1  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Weird neck mark in Late Night on: October 31, 2010, 11:14:15 pm
No, I don't mean the weird tattoo vampires have. I got rid of that. But this is kind of strange.

If you don't know what I'm referencing, I mean the weird stripe-y shadow under his chin. I'm using Aikea's face and body skin replacements... so maybe it's that. I haven't checked any other sims yet (didn't have time), but I'm going to soon. Just to make sure if it's just the vampires it's happening to or if it's the regular sims too.

It's not too much of a problem for me, really, but it's kind of annoying. It doesn't show up when the sim is in the CAS screen, but it's in live mode and when the little head pops up when you're picking actions. It's very dark there. So I dunno what's causing it. Does anyone else have this?

ETA: It shows up *only* on vampires. So maybe it's their skin overlay thing. I guess I'll contact Aikea about it. Still curious to see if anyone else has noticed this though! Also, I've only seen it on male vampires. Not the female ones.

ETA (again): I took all my mods out - including default replacements - it's still there. Hmm... I guess it's the vampire overlay on men? Or am I the only one having this problem?
2  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Sudden crashing? on: September 25, 2010, 02:37:56 am
Okay, so... my game is usually pretty good about not crashing on me. But all of a sudden it's decided it hates mirrors. Downloaded mirrors, base game mirrors... just mirrors. Every time I try to buy one, it crashes. If I turn reflections off, it seems to work. But I was always able to have the reflections enabled before.

If I go to a lot that's already had mirrors placed on it it seems fine, even if I have the reflections enabled. I have no idea what could cause this... Help?

PS: I did download a couple new things recently, but they were all loaded with the game launcher... and were CAS related. I can't recall if I've tried to buy a new mirror since I downloaded the latest patch though... maybe that's it?

ETA: I just took my mods folder out and tried to launch. Still having the same problem...

And just now I disabled all CC I've installed with the game launcher... same issue. I'm starting to think it's the patch... hjsadkahs Damnit.
3  The Sims 3 / Pudding Requests / Heterochromatic Eyes (AKA Odd Eyes)? on: July 15, 2010, 08:44:24 am
Hey, this is more of an inquiry rather than a request... but I was wondering if it's even possible to create an odd eye effect on sims3. I used to have an odd eye mesh on sims2 that I LOVED, but the one problem with that was that it covered the actual eye so if the sim glanced to the side or blinked, you'd still see the mesh over it.

If someone could actually figure this out, I'd be so thankful! But I'm wondering if it's even possible. D:
