Title: Summer Glau - River Tam from Firefly! Post by: Jagerjaques on December 13, 2006, 03:51:07 pm Finally! Ok....River. One of the more interesting stories on the Serenity. River is a hyper-intellegent child who was stolen from her family and brain washed into being the ultimate fighting machine. Her big brother, Simon, kidnapped her out of the school that was slowly killing her, and smuggled her aboard the ship. To make a long story short, she is about as stable as a boulder balanced on a teaspoon, and Simon loves her with all his heart. My favorite quote is more of a scene...River was fiddling around with Preacher's bible..."Bible's broken; contradictions, false logistics. Doesn't make sense. So we'll integrate non-progressional evolution theory with God's creation of Eden. 11 inherent metaphoric parallels already there." LOL That scene made me laugh until I got a side ache!

Animera, on MTS2, has made an awesome mesh for River. She made nice combat boots, but always with mini-skirts and such, so I requested a dress to go with them. She kindly complied, and did a great job. So, go check it out! Bonus: she had never seen the show before that, and now she has, and said she loved it. More Firefly fans is always a good thing.
