Title: Custom Content help.
Post by: kouklalicious on November 04, 2007, 11:52:40 pm
So I have downloaded a lot of custom content and the majority of it works, but when I get the dialog box at the begining of the game asking if I would like to enable custom content some of the things in that list have a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to it. What does that mean???

The yellow triangle is the Maxis code for "this stuff didn't come from us" warning that comes from The Exchange-and it might screw up your game, or it might not.
I don't know if it will do any harm to enable it, but it is custom content, and it might..or might not. Depends on what your computer can handle, and if you want to risk it.
Caveat Emptor.

Usually, the yellow triangle with a red exclamation mark indicates a hacked item or a mod. It just serves as a warning that you use this item at your own risk.
