Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Startup Screen PlumbBob missing background
|
on: April 06, 2007, 11:51:22 pm

This is my startup screen. The PlumbBob on the right is what it's supposed to look like. The one on the left is from my startup screen. Why is it like that? I put it here because I have Seasons. I'm running it on a Compaq Presario Celeron D, 3.33 GHz, 1372 MB Mem, ATI Radeon Xpress 200(but it also says 1100) with 62GB Free HD. I was thinking video card. I am getting a GeForce 7300LE 256MB next week. I thought I'd see if anyone has/had this problem too or know about it.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / start up

When all else fails, reinstall from scratch. That's what I've done in the past. Since the last time I did this, just before I installed Pets (months ago), I haven't had it happen. Just make sure to backup files.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / How many Angelina Jolie Sims do we need?
|

It's bad enough they're in the media all the time, but to have them running amuck in the Sim Community.....geesh!! I think it's great that you can even make Angelina with her looks, but enough is enough.
I'm surprised there's not an Anna Nicole Sim overload going on. There's one great Anna sim and that's enough.

I'm pretty sure they were in my Downloads folder. I wasn't able to get it to work right. I'm not computer illiterate by any means, but this program is a bit advanced for my knowledge. I was able to fix the items, but I had to start the game in debug, and make a new sim. When I flipped through the catalog, it displayed the files names of the items needed to be fixed (it did that with all items). I wrote them down and manually did it in SimPE. I have no naked bodies, but I do have a few items that shows the female/male adult defaults in just outfits, tops and bottoms. I'm assuming I'm missing a mesh or recolor. I know who there from, just don't know which outfits they are so I can redownload them. I should just delete them. I have 13,000+ some in my dnld folder. WOW!!!

Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / What files are required to use?
|

I have no problem seeing your BodyShape Project in my game.....it's all good, but my question is:
Do I HAVE to download Hi-Res_BodyShape_Nude_Outfits.rar from SexySims2.com (that's where I got it) in order for it to work properly? I don't plan to have nude (topless or bottomless) running around in my game and I just got all of my pre-Pets patch clothing fixed (yes, I have Pets) and don't want nakedness in the catalog again. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against nakedness, I just don't want it in my catalog.
