So awhile back, I went on a hack-downloading rampage. They're all good, except for one.
This hack altered the amount of pay my Sims received daily from their jobs. It was supposed to be a "more realistic" scale of pay.
Problem is, I don't know any ambulance drivers that make $1800 a day!!
Anyway, I want to delete the thing, but I can't find it in my folder, nor can I remember which site I downloaded it from.
Has anyone heard/seen/used this?!

I've had these mods before, but I can't remember where they came from. I'm looking for hacks/mods that will stop my Sims from:

Playing Kicky Bag
Playing Punch You, Punch Me
Playing Rock Paper Scissors
There's more. I just want/need the type that keeps them from doing the annoying things on their own.

Also, I used to have the top (photo link below) on Bella Goth, but converted to Warlokk mesh sizes. Is it still around?

I just got back into Simming after more than a year, and I can't seem to remember and/or find some things I had before:

1. A clear type flooring, in order to make lofts.

2. There's a shiny overlay type thing, to make floors shine.

3. Hope this one is ok to ask for, but its a hacked painting to boost needs, etc... Its modeled on the Rolling Hills painting.

This weird message pops up everytime I try to go from my neighborhood into a lot:

Object Error

I looked at this Log thing and its like a foreign language. I have no idea what is causing this, and/or how to fix it. I have the base game, Uni, NL, and OFB.

I had a major pc crash last year and haven't bothered with the Sims until now. There's a few things I'm looking for, and I'm sure there will be more. Thanks in advance!


1) A hack that got rid of the red box around the screen when the game is paused
2) A hack that eliminates the little movie when you start the game

I guess that's it for now. Likely more to follow!

After trying to create many different things, it turns out I'm not very good at any of them. But, I wanted to try to contribute at least something because I have enjoyed many creations from the talented people in the Sims community. So I give you what I call the Brick House.

Its built on a 3x3 lot and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, along with a dining room. I made an effort to only include game content, mostly because I haven't got a clue as to where I got most of my custom items!

This house is furnished, and right now has a cost of $80,085. I'll be more than happy to upload an unfurnished version if asked as well.

This is my first upload, so comments good or bad are more than welcome. Just don't be rude! Haha

I bet its something very simple that I've overlooked, BUT....

How do you change the walls and floors in pools?! I saw it in a few pictures and the pools look really cool with different walls and floors.

I tried just about everything I can think of so far! Like I said, its probably something easy and I'll feel like a dumba** but that's ok haha

Sorry, Redux just means that I typed this all out and my modem went wiggy so it didn't post! So, gotta do it again

This isn't a huge issue. It has to do with the create a sim area.
I tend to use custom created sims that I d/l. I'd rather build up the homes, etc.
Anyway, when I go to the custom sims area, the little thumbnail photos don't match up with what they actually are.
Example:
Say I have a BATMAN sim. When I go to the custom sims area, I don't see a thumbnail of BATMAN, but instead see a photo of the SUPERMAN sims I installed and then deleted a month ago. Or the thumbnail might even show a female sim that's been deleted even longer.
If I have 10 custom sims, maybe one of the thumbnails matches up to what it actually is.
I hope this makes sense to someone. Like I said, its minor and doesn't effect my gameplay, but if its a simple fix I'd love to take care of it.

I sat down today to do some Simming, double clicked my little icon on my desktop and........
Nothing
I could hear my CD drive start to whirl, but the game just did not start.
I have no idea what the problem is.
Sound familiar to anyone?

I'm feeling literally sick to my stomach. My game wouldn't start, no matter how many times I tried. So, I uninstalled my last EP (Nightlife) and reinstalled it. While doing that, I was also making dinner and doing laundry. Long story short, I didn't think to move my downloads folder out before uninstalling! I think I know the answer, but is it AT ALL possible that they are still somewhere I can get to them, or is the folder gone forever?! Seriously, if I can't recover anything, I think my Sims days are over
Any ideas out there?!

Does a program exist that will pinpoint a file that is crashing my game? I have way too much custom content to go through it one by one. Believe me, I tried but it made my brain numb.
I have Clean Installer, but that isn't very reliable. It hightlights files that work perfectly fine in my game, and hasn't highlighted the one that is causing the problem.
Any help is much appreciated! I want to play my game, but I can't until I get this resolved!

I wasn't sure if maybe I should post this in the WCIF section, and if so I apologize.

The problem I'm having now is that I have tons of custom content in my game. So much so that it has really slowed down some parts of my game. For example, if I click on the make-up tab when creating a Sim, it literally takes a full 3-4 minutes to come up.
So what I'm wondering is this:

Besides the Sims2Pack clean installer, is there a good program available that will let me view and delete custom content? There are a lot of things I'd like to get rid of, but they aren't labeled in my downloads folder so I don't know what to take out.

I want to look at each one, and simply delete whatever I don't use.

I have a problem, and just a question lol.

First, I'm having trouble with my downloads. Everything I put into my game shows up fine, except for paintings. I've tried some custom posters and such, looked in each bin and they are nowhere to be found. Right now I have Sims2, Uni, and Nightlife installed. Do I need another expansion for them to show up? This is annoying as hell!


Question:

I have always made custom neighborhoods and gotten rid of Verona, Strangetown, and Pleasantville. Do these 'hoods have storylines that you play out when you use them? Just wondering...

Is it possible to reinstall Body Shop without having to reinstall the whole game? I don't know why, but Body Shop will not load on my computer. Its 'non responsive'

I looked through tons of threads to make sure this hasn't been covered, but I didn't see any. So, here goes:

First, when I build a pool, I can't place a ladder for some reason. When I try, it says "Can't place against a wall" or something like that. I don't know what happened, because I've built pools before and never had this problem. I tried every size and angle of pool I can think of, and still the same thing

Second, I have added some custom paintings and pictures to my game, but they don't show up in my Buy menu. I thought maybe its because I don't have the right expansions, but most of them only require TS2.

Any help would be appreciated!
