I have a Sim in Strangetown that I created...he looks a bit like Dustin Broke(only he is an adult)and every sim in town is in love with him, even the men and the pets...and the wierd thing is that not all of them have actually *met* him.....they walk around with his picture in a thought bubble surrounded by flying hearts. I am beginning to think that this flying hearts thing is completely random. I love the way my married (or otherwise coupled) sims make this little woohoo noise and have the flying hearts when they are around their significant others...it's so cute!I have one sim who,as soon as he gets out of his car, runs to his wife and gives her a big old smooch all on his own.I think they are so cute when they are in love.

I won't be buying it,my system most certainly will not run it(even if they are designing it for "granny pcs"I won't be able to run it,their idea of a granny pc is an Alienware with dual core processors which I don't have and cannot afford)plus I refuse to buy a computer with Vista(it sucks in my opinion) on it,so unless I have someone build me one with XP on it,I won't be buying anything new in order to play the Sims 3. That being said,I am still pretty invested in the Sims 2...I had to reinstall some time ago and lost everything,so I am trying to get everything back to the way it was and this is going to take some time. Where did you hear that Sims 3 would run on a "granny pc"?I haven't heard that one yet.

John Burb(who is a house husband and maxed out on his cooking skill) has set the microwave on fire at least three times.I eventually got tired of this and deleted it.He has never once set the stove on fire, although Jennifer has a few times...she is another annoyance herself. She is pregnant with baby #2 and insists on playing SSX3 until I have to cross out the action and move her on to something else..she has sat there playing that obnoxious game when her bladder and hunger bars were in the red and so was her plum bob.....I mean,I love my games too but I do take bathroom and food breaks. She was pretty easy before she got pregnant so I am wondering if pregnancy has made her stupid......Lucy Burb is completely adorable(and also expecting by her townie husband Trevor)so I really wanted another Burb kid...but I am re-thinking that decison. Yes,they are stupid sometimes........but they do such cute things that I have to forgive them.

Great thread!I had one sim that came over to Adam Sims' house and stayed in the hot tub for a *week*.He never got out to do anything, just sat there for a week.....and when he left he said"Look at the time!I have to go!"I thought it was so funny....I mean,he sat there for an entire wek! Adam Sim(his last name is Trier in game)is one of my funniest sims...he is constantly looking over his shoulder at me....he lives alone so I know he isn't looking at anyone else.......at first I thought it was creepy but now I think it is kind of cute.He also dreams about the strangest things.....you know how you get the little hearts around the thought bubbles of sims they like?well, apparently Adam is in love with his stereo,he dreams about it every night, and once I caught him having a romantic dream about Balin the lone wolf....very funny. Something surprising that happened last night happened in Life Stories........one of my sim kids invited a friend over and her friend asked if she could bring a friend....sure,why not?the kid ended up bringing some ugly, creepy townie named Peyton(who is an adult btw)After checking his last name to make sure he wasn't related to my sim kid's friend,I had her mom order him off the lot.Every now and then I get thought bubbles over my sim kid's head about Peyton.I don't know if this is horrifying or funny or both. I love these funny little things my simmies do,every time I play I learn something new about them.

I won't be buying the Sims 3.My computer won't run it,I don't even need to see the system specs,I know it won't run on my system.Even if I did have a fab system with everything under the sun packed into it I still don't think I would buy it.Why?because even after so many years of playing TS2 I am still absolutely besotted with the game.I love the way my sims look,I love the building options and OMG I love the CC and hacks I have in game.To me,TS2 is everything I could ever ask for in a game and I can see myself playing it for many years to come. It's the same thing with Sim City 4.....Sim City Societies is mere shadow of SC4 and will never be as good(in my opinion) Someone mentioned that they didn't think many TS2 players would be able to play TS3 because the system requirements will likely be out of reach for many players and I think that is 100% accurate. Not all of us have a computer capable of launching the space shuttle.EA should continue to improve on TS2 and release more stuff packs instead of rushing to release TS3 just yet.
