Title: Re: Sims 3 Patch 1.33 Post by: jamesabrown1 on March 20, 2012, 06:27:37 am Yeah. So far I've had success by opening the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder and deleting the contents, and also the resource file in Mods and the d3dx9_31.dll in the Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin folder. Then, after applying the patch or doing the installation, opening the recycle bin and executing the restore all items function. Then, of course, I check for any updated mods that I am using and re-downloading and installing them. This doesn't seem to be quite as painful as a full reinstall of all the mods.
