1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Sim disappearance+lag/freeze in hotel on: September 11, 2007, 08:55:03 am
I've tried doing that, but none of the sims show up. @.@
2  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Sim disappearance+lag/freeze in hotel on: September 10, 2007, 10:19:13 pm
So far everything has been fine in VB. Then I decide to book my sim on a vacation. Taxi arrives, she goes, Twikki Island loads, hotel comes to view and so does the source of my troubles. The hotel and everything have loaded except for the sims. I can still click and around and stuff with the pie-menu popping up (amidst awful lag) but where did the sims go? I have removed all my hacks and mods beforehand, so what is going on?

Thanks in advance
3  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Should my computer be sufficient? on: September 10, 2007, 09:56:28 am
Hey all,

I was wondering if my desktop computer should be sufficient for running Bon Voyage relatively smoothly. I have a HP Pavilion Windows XP with 1GB Ram, 2.4 GHZ processor, and a NVidia MX 420 (64 MB) graphics card. I know my graphics card is pretty dusty, but I don't think my parents are willing to purchase a new one (considering I'm going off to college in the next year). I have currently University, Nightlife, Seasons, and the Glamour Life stuff pack installed and the game runs more or less smoothly (with med graphics settings) as long as I'm not running around in a huge lot with 6+ sims.

So...should I hold off on BV or would I be fine?

Thanks in advance.
