106  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / My Sim Is Stuck In Buy Mode In BV on: December 21, 2007, 04:01:02 pm
Sorry Virtualbubble, it wasn't clear. I thought of the family of your Sim stuck in holidays. They are in a normal neighborhood right ? The restore family is in the "Summoner" tool of the Insimenator.
Good luck. Smiley

Have you try to restore your family (with the Insimenator) from your base home ? It can work I guess. Smiley

Ah strange. I didn't know that a technic limitation would be able to block some functions. But if all is correct (except the odd hang up ?) on the new one, this is good.

With the Vista pseudo incompatibilty, try to patch the game and the alert may vanish. Smiley

111  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Bodyshop(Bon Voyage) on: December 07, 2007, 04:59:22 pm
So with only one "clothing" folder Bodyshop is ok ?

It's strange, I have a lot of folders in my Downloads folder and Bodyshop never had crashed... Or it's because of the same name maybe...
112  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Sim Suddenly Back in College on: December 07, 2007, 04:53:13 pm
Hum strange thing... I don't know what is the cause but if you have the Insimenator you can age your sim in an adult and add the competences lost. Smiley

I really would like to know why this is happen but now, it's quite unsure...

Maybe a problem in the reinstallation ? Does Bon Voyage Bodyshop functionned well before the reinstallation ?

Or a new custom content incompatible maybe... Smiley

Yes Lewis. Smiley With my old computer which had only 256 Mb of Ram Cheesy, the game crashed regularly when I was trying to change the "coiffure" of sim girls (with the mirror). Too many dowloaded hair I guess. tongue

If there is a "jump" during the animation, yes an hack can be involved. But the locale gesture must be repeated many times for a complete learning too. Wink

Search your Downloads folder carefully (with the Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer for exemple). You have maybe downloaded an unknown hack in a house for exemple (especially if you haven't used the S2PCI during the house installation). The hacks and mods are in red. Smiley
120  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / BV wont run & additional problems........! on: December 01, 2007, 01:26:53 pm
Yes the deleting of cache files have resolved a lot of blocked games for me. It's a wonderful (mirifique) idea !

But for the corrupted skintone, you have to find it. Wink Use the Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer (here) and run it to find all skintones. Try to place them elsewhere and to put them again one after one to find the culprit (or remove all skintones if you want to go fast). Smiley
