31  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / HELP!! PLS on: January 05, 2008, 02:53:18 pm

For some strange reason the game was coded so recolors, objects, and other whatever other non-bodyshop type items would show up in the game whether the folder was named Downloads or downloads.  Bodyshop items on the other hand require Downloads.

Isn't this typical of EAxis?... *sigh*

I think the Downloads folder is okay, otherwise it wouldn't have shown the recolours. And I think it's written the same in Hungarian games. I wouldn't know, I'm playing in English Cheesy

Hmm, problems in communication?... If help is still needed, I can assist, I'm Hungarian as well. So...

ntrust62, ha még van valami problémád, légyszives írd magyarul majd én lefordítom neked, oké? Smiley

36  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Question about packages on: December 08, 2007, 07:49:31 pm
I think it's a BV bug, I've had similar, but you can still use it without problems. The file still has one extension (ie. the very last ".package"), the others are simply considered as parts of the file's name.
If you want, you can rename the file to have only one ".package", but I haven't really experienced issues with it. I just wonder what causes it...

Scalad, look what forum you're at. Ever heard of the InSIMenator?... If you have downloaded it, but haven't read the documentation, that's totally unhealthy. The Wardrobe Adjuster comes with the InSIM.

Oh, okay, I do the same Cheesy Thought you were referring to actually using the Plan outfit Maternity and Change to Maternity options, and I asked because they didn't work for me.
Thanks for replying anyways! Smiley

Anyhow, who says you absolutely need that hack, anyway? I've been using the Wardrobe Adjuster to change my sims' maternity attire, and it's a very straightforward procedure.

Excuse me, but how do you do that?... I usually force my sims to wear Everyday (that has a belly Wink ), but I didn't know you could change the maternity outfit :smt120
40  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Music gets stuck on: December 01, 2007, 05:12:04 pm
Wow, 34,000 ?? And I'm critical about my 5,000 ... Shocked
Well, good luck on sorting out your skins. And patience Smiley
41  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Music gets stuck on: November 30, 2007, 01:12:17 pm
It sounds like you have a conflicting custom content. Try moving your whole downloads folder on your desktop and start the game without it. If it loads okay, then you need to sort out your downloads. For that you can use the Clean Installer or Delphy's Download Organizer. :tongue8:
However, if your game refuses to load and crashes, then it got corrupted. And only a reinstall may help that Sad
42  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / somebody help me!!!!!! on: November 30, 2007, 01:00:10 pm
But if they're not showing up in Bodyshop as well... Well I hope you backed up your downloads, the installation of the new EPs might have deleted them Sad
43  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / help me please EMERGENCY on: November 28, 2007, 02:04:34 pm
Oh, that's a technical thingie. It shows the Frames Per Second rate. No need to worry, it will go away if you find the key combination again for it (Ctrl + something ... sorry, I don't know it), but if you don't want to play piano on your keyboard, restarting your game should definitely help.
Again, no worries Smiley
44  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Starting CAF/CAS without SIMs or Bodyshop on: November 27, 2007, 12:30:28 am
Tenshii, how do you have the patience to play? :-O
45  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Starting CAF/CAS without SIMs or Bodyshop on: November 26, 2007, 03:30:50 pm
I don't think it is possible to do that as CAF/CAS is a part of the game. I use BodyShop to delete my custom content and then run the Download Organizer for orphans.
To save time you can try adding not one piece of CC back to your Downloads folder, but let's say 10 and sort them out that way.
By the way, you are really lucky if your game loads only for approx. 2 minutes. Mine takes at least 5 with all downloads :smt120
