Title: Question when it comes to Story Telling
Post by: HB_princessakasha on July 26, 2008, 03:13:54 am
oh. well don't let the title fool you to much, i know how to tell a story lmao.

but my main question, is.
When you do Screenshots, do you use the camera system in the Sims 2 or do you print screen and resize and photoshop and whatnot?

because i wanted to introduce some of my characters and such created in the sims but i think the pictures i take using the camera in the game come out to small unless im looking at the wrong folder. but regardless they aren't as big as everyone elses on here.

i just need some suggestions is all.

thank you in advanced!

What I do is, I use the camera in game. I set it to the highest size.

If you don't know how to set the camera size, go to options and click on graphics, I think it is. You'll find it somewhere near the bottom left.

I've used print screen also. But I prefer the camera in game.

Click on the link in my signature and you'll see the pictures I've taken.

You can select the size of your picture using the graphics icon that was mentioned in a previous post.  When I use the in-game camera, the pictures are in the Neighborhoods>N***>Story Telling folder.  I get a snapshot and a thumbnail, and the latter is much smaller.

You can also enlarge your pictures by using a program like photoshop, gimp, etc.

I use Gadwin printscreen, and am usually happy with that solution. it gives me larger freedom in cropping the pictures, and also if I have to edit them. But I use (the largest) c-button pics as backup if I'm doing storytelling pictures. Saves frustration if Gadwin quits itself (like it sometimes does).

Also you will get Screenshots and thumbnails, usually they are seperated.

Are you looking in neighbourhood story telling folder? Thumbnails are small screenshots are what size you select. You can edit them with the paint programme that comes on your PC.
