Title: CD/DVD Post by: Jazza0 on September 25, 2007, 08:08:26 am Why did this happen? i know it happened when pets was released (in uk anyways) but why did things go from CD i.e. university, nightlife to DVD? i had to install a brand new DVD drive to play it...Is it because of the memory drive and if so whats the difference between them?
Title: CD/DVD Post by: Bloody_Tears on September 25, 2007, 09:49:35 am I think it's because you can get more info/stuff on a DVD than a CD-ROM, so by putting it onto DVD's, they save space and presumably make it more cost effective and less time consuming than having to use 3 or 4 CD-ROMS to install the game.
