Introductory notes: Ever since I first started making clothes for the Sims, I wanted to make the Musketeers. Unfortunately, I could never find a suitable mesh for them so I gave up and decided the next best thing: a re-enactment of the movie The Man in the Iron Mask witch takes place some 20 years latter and the only one still a Musketeer is D’Artagnan. This movie, with Leonardo deCaprio, Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich and Gérard Depardieu was loosely based on the book “L'homme au masque de fer” written in 1848 by Alexandre Dumas, père, and talks about the legend of a twin brother of the Kind Louis XIV, hidden in the Bastille. Title: The Man in the Iron Mask Post by: Doomangelsc on April 02, 2007, 10:36:29 am I know this post is a bit old ('bout a month or so) but Alexasrosa I have to tell you how I much I love the Porthos clothing especially the muscles (mesh by Beosboxboy). I play only a medieval hood and I'm so tired of just skinny men. I was hoping maybe you'll happen to do some more like this in the future or anyone for that matter in the medieval style.

Title: The Man in the Iron Mask Post by: porkypine on April 03, 2007, 03:17:19 pm Hi Doomangels - I agree with you, these are very nice clothes. :0) In case you didn't know, Musketeers are actually post renaissance , not medieval. :0) What was this period? Rococo? Baroque? (nah, later than Baroque). eh... not sure what this period was called, but it's fairly modern - 1700's . They are in the era of the Louis's, before Napoleon.
If you want medieval, have you looked at MTS2's Magik Modder's MidSIMers Night Dream?
