A treasure map ? I have found maps of the secret locations but the treasure box (shiny and full of gold and jewels tongue) is not there. It can be find with digging in the soil and not especially in the vacations neighborhoods. Smiley

Yes sure you can save before a reinstallation. All characters are in the My Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 / Neighborhoods. But if you want to keep the aspect of these caracters you would have to save too the Downloads folder. The better is to save all the My Doc / ... Sims 2 folder in fact... Smiley

If there is crash there is a lot of chances that a custom content is involved. Have you try to play without your CC Imogen.3 ?

Suspiciously (with a general save before Cheesy), I've installed the patch and good, fortunately, I haven't experienced any securom alert / any Sims blocked. Good news. Smiley

Maybe it's because of a toilet downloaded somewhere... :roll: I've finally found why I haven't the expresso machine no more, it was cause of a simple recoloration of it. I was pretty sure it was an object conflict and without them the problem was still there. But without the recolor folder the expresso was there.
So... Try to move out all your Downloads to be sure. After, if the toilets are here, then... you will have to find the disappearance origin... Smiley
