I was on insimadult and one of the posts were about how pissed everyone is especially the top adult modders on that website the fact that you can't mod or hack or create ANYTHING for the sims3 without going through a very great deal of trouble and if you read the whole thread it does make sense because I think EA Games are ASHAMED of what the we the community have put into there precious franchise and they should be HAPPY that we the sims community have made the game such a success like it is today because without us it would be played for about a week and become very repitive and boring and I think they honestly don't want Sims 3 to be 'corrupted' like they think the Sims 2 has been over the years So long story short I will NOT give EA games one red cent for this crappy game which is going to be the biggest flop of 2009!

AL is a very laggy slow game anyway I only have I would think 'just enough' RAM or harddrive memory to run the 4 EP's and 2 SP's and 2 GB of CC I have now and especially when you go into BellaDonna Cove it seems to really lagg I would persume because of all the available lots for your apartment loving sims to rent or demolish but for me in any other neighborhood its relativley fast hope this helps a little. . .

I am probably argueably the PICKIEST person you'd ever meet when creating a sim, I don't know why but if I make a sim in BS and look at her in CAS and don't like how she looks moving and smiling and stuff I won't use her and I'll go spend another 2-3 hours creating the perfect face for my females I admit it becomes a bit repetitive and boring at times but Im so damn picky lol and as for males I have almost 3 GB of CC for homes and the rest is just female CC hair, clothes, makeup (I have GOBS & GOBS of make-up lmfao) so I only downloaded maybe 1-2 males sims since ive been playing and possibly ONE t-shirt set for my default males because I hate the maxis clothes my townies wear and I just really can't make a male sim look ahem 'manly' they all look (feminine) in my opinion but thats just me I can't make a really good male to save my life. . .

I find that when I download a home that has lots of CC already inside the lot it takes a long time to load the lot usually 10-15 minutes at a maximum with 4 EP and 2 SP's installed and also I have low RAM so that could be factor so if the houses you download are taking a long time to load why not install them with clean installer and uncheck all the CC if any that is furnished with the home and see how long it takes to load then?

I know this sounds stupid but are you SURE he's actually picking the handset up because one time I tried making my sim call another sim and she would go all the way to the phone and wouldn't stomp or anything her action in her que would just dissapear so I was like  so I paused and zoomed in on the reciever and I had stupidly deleted the handset off the reciever when I had moveobjects on LMFAO try looking and seeing if you did that by accident or something or have you tried using a new phone and deleting that one? maybe I helped but probably not hope you get it working again

Well I'm perfectly happy with TS2 for now and I don't plan on buying it for atleast a couple of months and besides I have bigger things to worry about, my boyfriend is about to start a new job in the spring and were investing our money in a new home very soon so TS3 is out of the question for probably a year or so OR if I see some significant modding, hacking and just overall re-making of the game because I agree with Sierra I too am an adult and do not have any desire to play with these childish looking sims that EA was supposed to take a step UP from Sims 2 and not DOWN, what idiots I could curse and scorn Maxis all day and all night but I'll just leave this thread with this thought in mind Maxis better re-consider the CC thing and making elements in the game more realistic including the sims or they are in for a very big surprise come there next fiscal year, and I don't think Maxis is going to be very successful with this game until the intial novelty has worn off like simpleprincess said because simmers CRAVE more and more and more CC for there game, thats what makes it seem so realistic and why the sole purpose the sims franchise its such a success like it is today. . . NOT because of maxis but because of the thousands of creators out there that make it a game

Yeah I don't think TS3 is going to be the best game of all time like everybody thinks either. . . and about the way the sims look and why maxis made them like that is because they are complete and utter morons and don't really give a damn what the sims community want and don't take into consideration that if they don't allow CC to be in the game (which to my knowledge at this point is not going to happen) that there sales for the Sims franchise will be a complete flop and there company will more than likely go under because of loss of sales and angry angry simmers because I hear there shipping that devil of a software SecuroROM!! to screw everyones computer up hence shelling out more money to this shady and corrupt company we all love to hate

Hmm I'm not sure I just went to My Computer and then right clicked on my c drive and looked at my pie chart for those estimates I gave you earlier, how would I see how much RAM I have?

In my opinion and this could be just me talking blah blah blah but I think honestly with the economy in such shambles that EA thinks that there not going to be able to make there quota for this fiscal year releasing the game in Feb, I mean it's like this half the damn country is out of job and it doesn't seem like to me that the president is doing anything to help the crumbling economy like he 'said' he would, and selling crap like there showing in those screenshots do you really think people is going to shell out 40-50$ for a game that looks WORSE than its precessor?
