16  Simmers' Paradise / Content Creation & Recoloring Help / Re: Converting mesh from another game? on: November 18, 2013, 04:25:55 pm
Oh Sims, you are so difficult! Thanks Raven, maybe I'll try to start small.... after school is done for the semester Tongue

Broomhilda: I read October 2014. I remember mainly because I thought to myself, "I know what I'm asking for for my birthday!" Forget going out to drink for turning 21, someone find me Sims and I will be happy XD

I think, HylianWolf, because TS3 was kind of a flop, that they're going to let it die and create a new one. Who knows, though? It's just gone downhill since TS2 and that makes me sad Sad
18  Simmers' Paradise / Content Creation & Recoloring Help / Converting mesh from another game? on: November 17, 2013, 07:21:42 pm
I've tried searching for a tutorial but I'm either completely blind or something. I made a WCIF a week or two ago about some Skyrim clothes and since no one else has seen them, I kind of want to just convert them myself. Is there a tutorial for this somewhere? One for dummies would be great Tongue I'm kinda brand new at all this, but heck, why not jump right in, eh? Thank you.
19  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / WCIF: Clothes like these? on: November 03, 2013, 06:54:48 pm
So I wanted to make a character I have in mind for Skyrim on Sims so I can love her before I get my computer updated.... I found these on the mod forum (and the shrouded armor):

Shrouded Armor here

Something like this robe

These boots go with the robe above.

I have a few things for the CPU, but the boobs are a bit too big which isn't a huge deal, but everything comes on high heels. Does anyone know how difficult it is to traverse mountains and be sneaky with assassinations in high heels?! Anyway, if anyone can point me in a direction, that would be lovely. I've looked a bunch of different places and googled like crazy but to no avail. Thank you wonderful people!

I would also like to add that if they are for the normal bodyshape, that is fine by me. Thanks again!

You didn't like Snow White and the Huntsman, Senko? I actually loved it (and it was the last one I saw, so...relevant! Cheesy )

A day or so before that I saw The Campaign, which I thought was.... eeehhh... So funny, but so bad. So so bad. Even if they knew it was bad, it was just painful sometimes.

And before THAT was Sherlock Holmes, which I really liked but they made him too Dr. House. Even if House was modeled after Holmes, I think they reremodeled Holmes after House....

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Oh yeah  Grin
23  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Double EA Games folders when starting game on: October 08, 2012, 09:20:51 pm
I had the exact same problem when I reinstalled TS2 here on Windows 7. Go to the "My Documents" in "My computer"

Start>Computer>C:>Users>(yourname)>My Documents>EA Games>Sims 2>Downloads

and put everything in there. That should fix it up for you Smiley

26  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: WCIF Body shape for heavier male? on: September 04, 2012, 06:17:34 pm
Thank you very much Smiley I'm thinking this one is a bit too muscular, but I'll definitely give it a try in-game. Thanks again!

Edit: Took a good look at it and it is a bit too muscular for my tastes. Martaxl works well, but only in the ones Gothplague put up. Anyone know of any good recolors or anything of the mesh? There was one (again on MTS) that looked decent, but it was MUCH bigger than the original Martaxl mesh.... I'll scour Insim here, but Google pulled up next to nothing for me.

Edit Part 2: G-Knee, the skins you linked me to were PERFECT though! That was what I was looking for exactly. Thanks!

That one may work, thank you Smiley Now to find more outfits....

If anyone has any others they know of, that would be wonderful!
28  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / WCIF Body shape for heavier male? on: September 02, 2012, 08:56:50 pm
All I can find is the body builders for men and a very old "fat family" on MTS. I was wondering if there was any other male body shapes for over weight men? Thanks for the help!

30  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Reinstalled the game, put in my backed up stuff, nothing's showing up on: April 28, 2012, 05:12:50 pm
That is checked, so my CC should show up, but it's not. My self-made neighborhoods aren't showing up, either. All the premades from all the expansions are, however.

And before I forget (again), I have all games but Holiday, FT, M&G, and Ikea
