Hello everyone!

Well I recently got a new computer and I am now trying to install the Sims 2 (: Double Deluxe) to my new computer. My disk drive is a PC-CD, and I noticed that the Sims 2: Double Deluxe is a PC-DVD, and only comes in PC-DVD. Along with its other latest expansions "Aparment Life" (which I have also) and "Freetime" (which I don't have). So I used my brother's computer to make an image file and sent it to my new computer. Everything went well.

And that went all downhill. I am now trying to run the image file in DAEMON Tools Elite, and the installation starts fine after I enter the code and everything. But once its done installing after a 2% period(I believe?), and it is on "Support\*.*",  it brings up an error message that says

"A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'E:\Support\EA Help\en-us\Controller\Start_Controller_Issues.htm' from the media.

Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation?"

I clicked retry so many times, it doesn't work!

Please help guys! Any help is well appreciated, I have been trying to get this to work for about 5-6 weeks! Please help.


((**P.S. I AM USING AN ISO IMAGE FILE, AND I HAVE TRYED ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF IMAGE MOUNT FORMATS AND THEY ALL BRING UP THE ERROR MESSAGE YOU SEE ABOVE!))

How do I find out this information? I believe CD. It says "Compact Disc [ReWritable]" on the disc tray. Is that helpful?

Well I am here because I need help, I recently got a new computer and I am trying to install my sims game and the expansions pack as well to my new computer. I am having a problem with installing The Sims 2 Double Deluxe and Apartment Life. Autrun is not showing up AT ALL!

And when I say AT ALL, yes not in "My Computer>>(D: ) Drive)" no where. I tryed to go to Start>>Run>>D:\Autorun. But that didn't work at all either! However, when I inserted Bon Voyage in the disk drive IT DID COME UP! :smt104

I know the disk isn't scratched because I bought a new yesterday because I thought my old one was scratched. Basically, I wasted my money!

How are you? Well I'm not good. -.- lol

I have gotten a new computer for my birthday, and I was trying to install my Sims 2 game on my new computer. It's scratched and the installation setup box won't come up at all!

What do I do? Any suggestions?

Oh nevermind I figured it out. You save camera spots by pressing Ctrl 4-9 to save angles when you're in camera man mode and if you press those numbers (4-9) you'll go from one place to the other.

Okay, I know there is one. A mod that is good for movie-making and zooms fast, like from one place to another. I see it in alot of sim movies, especially when directors use it to zoom on the eyes, or zooming in on houses and things like that. Does anyone know where I can find this. Or could anyone attach it as a QR please!? I really need it to make my movies look better!
