I am glad to see I am not the only one who is having this 'problem'. I've begun saving and quitting when all of my Sims go to bed, on lots where everyone goes to bed at the same time, so that has solved the car problem, but of course I never know when I'll be installing a new patch, so I have little forewarning to when I 'need' to do this. Oh well, at least I am not in this boat alone.

I've always assumed everyone else has this problem, but I wanted to double check. Everytime I add or remove any global hacks, and I believe also when I patch the game, the next time I load a lot, all of the characters are standing around usually grouped together, no matter the time of day. If they'd been asleep, or been at work, they are now home and everyone's mood meters are set to a fixed amount (almost everything is full, except for bladder and Hunger I believe). Mostly this is fine, except when it comes to Sims with jobs. If they'd been at their job when I loaded the game, they are now sitting at home like nothing happened. If I have a spare car they can take that and just be late. If I do not, they are stuck however. Furthermore, if any of the Sims had driven themselves to work, that car is now missing. I have only had one instance of a Sim driving his car back but in most instances I have to buy them new ones.

Does anyone else have this problem, and is it correctable in any way that anyone knows of? It's mostly an annoyance, but a few characters have been demoted because of it.

Dang, you can't just show us something like that and then tease us with no letting us use it. *sigh* But that doesn't mean I won't settle for the hair. For now. *grin*

I think I did end up finding the hair, but as it did not default to showing up on the cataloged Sim, I was not sure if it was the same one or not. I was not even certain I had the right Sim (who can keep track of how many random Sim men they've downloaded over the years), but now that I see the piercings were not included, I suspect it is the right one. Thank you for your help.

So I myself quite like this young gent, but he shows up all 'wrong' in my CAS. I'm not new to this whole Sims 2 thing, actually, but I've always been baffled by the premade Sims and how they appear in CAS. He's actually several pages back in my CAS screen (which happens sometimes, but mostly the new ones show up in the 'front'), and he has different hair, and his piercings don't show up at all. I downloaded the one bit of CC that was linked to (thinking that since it was the only one with a link, it was the only one that required a seperate download), so I am not sure exactly what I am doing wrong.

This is certainly not the only Sim who this has happened to for me, but this is the first one I've truly been sad to see it happen to.

Same question as cutie, but I'm looking for the hair. I don't have enough good male hairs, and that one looks like it'd be perfect.

I think you are my favorite Glamour Girl. Mermista, Catra, and now this!? Though, and I have to upset a few poeple here when I mention I never thought the original He-Man was very attractive. I was always a Man-At-Arms person myself.
 
Now the NEW He-Man (from the 200? relaunch, not the 199? one) was superfine. They made a She-Ra action figure as an exclusive for that line, and I bought her (natch), but she looked a little too Glamazon for my tastes.

Er, not that anyone cared. I just get chatty sometimes.

Man, I think maybe Maxis is trying to teach us a lesson. The dangers of melanoma perhaps? I think the latest version of the InSimenator has an option for giving your Sim a tan/burn/frostbite  under it's social item, if you do not mind adding a mod into your game.

I effing love She-Ra. At least in my head, where I don't remember the show very much. But I went on a binge a few years back, and bought most of the figures off ebay. Ahem. Now to find myself a Catra with scratching action!

I just had one of my own Sims come down with a case of the sunburn, and on my game it seems to have cleared up on it's own. I am still on vacation with the Sim, and it is only one (vacation) day later. In that time, I did have him woohoo a few times, shower, eat, went on a few tours, and went to a community (vacation) lot. I don't recall when I noticed it went away, but it doesn't seem like it took too long for me.

Alright, I ended up doing some looking over on ModtheSims and located the necessary meshes, so the shirt works. That being said, I am still short one special Lady, so I'd be more than happy with her being sent. Assuming you just need my email, it is whyttigr@gmail.com. Thank you again,

So I downloaded these the other day (it's become clear to me I do not have very much variety in female clothing for my Sims), but they both are showing up as generic white shirts. I redownloaded the file and installed it, to see if I just missed something, so I'll let you know if it works, BUT, I mostly wanted to make this post since the model wearing the shirts if effin adorable.

As a player who mostly focuses on male sims *ahem*, I don't have many ladies for my neighborhoods, and I was wondering if she was available for use? I followed the link in your signature, and I am sorting through some other forum threads now to see if there is an obvious answer staring me in the face, but I just wanted to double check here. I have a question in regards to the default skin tones. I'd yet to use any default skin tone replacements, though I am glad to know they exist, but I am curious about the color of the body hair. I had assumed you had a default skin tone replacer for each hair color (which in hindsight seems like it might be impossible), but wondered how it'd know what color hair each sim has. Using this default replacement, I'm happy with the results, except on the blonde Sim I'm playing right now. I'm just curious if there is any workaround for this that I am overlooking. Thank you.
