Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Strange Sims-related dream...
|
on: October 27, 2007, 07:07:20 pm
|
So last night I had a dream that involved me, all my friends and my sister in the sims. But it wasn't the sims 2, we were too realistic. We looked like RL humans, just a little less realistic because it is still a game. And we were in Pleasantview, but again in was different. There were like three parts to it. There was main Pleasantview, there was uptown pleasantview (which was practically the same families and houses, to an extent, as the sims 2) and at the foot of the 'cliff'. The landscaping was very simmish.
The weirdest part was we all lived in one BIG house. The first floor was a strange café and the other floors on top were each respective person's 'house'. Another strange fact - I had a Halloween party (with everyone of the friends in the dream present) yesterday, right before going to sleep and having the dream.
So anyway, i met quite a few of the sims there, including becoming really good friends with the Pleasant family. Then, for a reason I can't quite recall, I ran away from our giant house and walked around ALL of Pleasantview, which is when I stayed at the Pleasant family's hosue and befriended them. While I was walking, I fell off the cliff and landed perfectly at the foot-of-the-cliff part of Pleasantview. But something scary happened there, unfortunately I can't remember what it was, and I headed back to my house.
This is going to sound crazy so sorry by childish question (hey, I'm only 13): Could I have seen into the future and seen the Sims 3? :happy8: :tongue8:
(as you may have guessed, Pleasantview is my favourtie Sims 2 neighbourhood)

Anyways, my question is: Is real-life University anything like what uni. life is like in the Sims 2 University? In general, mostly, but specifics are good too. Just wanna know. I'm weird like that. i ask lots of random questions. :happy8:

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Restarting Neighbourhoods
|
on: October 13, 2007, 12:34:13 pm
|
So, I posted a thread before asking how to restart a neighbourhood and I think I finally understood what I have to do, but I can't find the thread! Anyways, I know you have to copy the said neighbourhood (My Computer> Program Files> EA Games>.....Res> Neighbourhoods) and paste it in the Neighbourhoods folder in My Docs> EA> Sims 2> then rename the neighbourhood and all the files in the folder. There was a link on the first thread to the website that you could download a file renaming program to do it for you. Anyone know where I can find it?

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What have you done with your default sims?

Maybe she will end-up with Michael Bachelor since I made him an adult again (thanks to the insim again, a few clicks and it is done) Michael Bachelor is Bella Goth's brother, making him Cassandra's uncle so if Cassandra hooked-up with Michael that would be.... very soap opera-ish. As for the pre-made sims (I only really play Pleasantview): -Pleasants: Mary-Sue caught Daniel with the maid and divorced him. (He moved into a small mediterranian-inspired condo by himself) Angela moved in with Dustin in college (on-campus lot). Lilith moved in with Dirk (They're both still teenagers. Darren moved in with Goth family) *More to come. Have to go eat supper*

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Help with Preg for all Genders hack
|
on: August 22, 2007, 04:43:12 pm
|
I downloaded the Pregnancy for all Genders hack from TwoJeffs. But when I tried making to males try for baby, the option wasn't available. The only options were kiss, cuddle, make out and woohoo: but no try for baby. What is the problem? What do I do? Thanks in advance.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / You have been playing the Sims 2 for too long...

::smilieiforgetwhi:: When you say "Guess what I did yesterday?" and your friends all say (at the same time too) "You played the Sims." and they're always right.
::smilieiforgetwhi:: Also I always think "That would be great in the sims 2" or "Someone should really make that for the sims 2" when I see certain nice articles of clothing or peices of furniture.
::smilieiforgetwhi:: I actually took grid paper and made an exact replication of my house in sim style. i couldn't make it however because the basemant wasn't working properly and my main floor had two different levels!
