Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Missimg Maxis Objects (Not corrupted, just gone)

A very common problem/cause:
On occasion, someone will clone an object and do a recolor and not rename the original object. This will, in effect, overwrite the original with the new clone. The original will no longer show in your game. Check your downloads folder and try to find a recolor of that dress and remove it. That should leave the original intact.
Any time you uninstall a game to do a reinstall, you will loose everything. Just copy the MyDocuments/EA/Sims2 folder to a new location (desktop) and put it back after the reinstall.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Making Townies Out Of BodyShop Sims

Very easy using SimPe! Create as many sims as you want in a family and let that "family" sit in the holding bin. Now, close the game and open SimPe. Go to Neighborhoods, load your 'hood. After a few minutes, go back to Neighborhoods and select SimSurgery. The first box will be the townie you want to replace (Remington Harris, gardner). The second box will be one of the sims you created in your "family". Click on use skintone only and proceed. This will make Mr. Harris look like your new sim in a very quick fashion. Don't forget to click the commit button and you're done. Good luck.
If you don't have this program, it is a free download.

So, I was just thinking that it was a shame you can't mix undies and pants in for a combined outfit. In a flash of derranged insight, it hit me. I've attached the Joc Soc to the skintone. You will need both for this to work in your game. The downside is that the undies will show up when your sim is nude, but it's a small price to pay. You will be able to wear any sheer bottoms and the undies will show through the fabric. Interested? Both the PJs and the skin are included in the .rar. I have, blatantly, used the dynamic duo's PJ pkg. I can't seem to locate the original mesh, but I'm sure most of you have it already available. Perhaps Yakov will add the link? As usual, my thanks to Marvine and BeosBoxBoy for their huge contribution to the world of Sims. Hugs. EDIT: ask and ye shall receive, the mesh: http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=2159
