Gethane: I think Josie is very pretty, my in game born sims ar only ever pretty if someone else created at least one of the parents(Or grandparents)...
sigh, yes, Josie is the granddaughter of a Noema sim, Alexa.. However, Alexa married a townie. Then their daughter, Maria, married one of my born in game Sims, Jackson (son of my neighborhood 10 children having founders who I created in CAS) and they had Josie. Jackson then had an unfortunate meeting with his brother's cowplant when visiting for a dinner party and so they didn't get a chance to have more children. *cry* I think Josie has a kind of Teri Hatcher look. It's even more so when she has long hair like here:

Kyle walker (one laying in front) is my favorite sim to date. He's been in my SimLife since Mayish 2006. Alas, after a full life, he will be meeting Grimmy before too much longer. His family is my favorite family.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Making a teen prom

I started a thread on MATY and got a lot of great suggestions for what hacks to use to accomplish this, but now I'm stuck on a venue. I suck at making community lots. I've started and stopped several times. I'm looking for a smallish lot, to help with the lag that's going to be involved in summoning a dozen or more teens, 2x2 or 3x3, and I'd prefer to keep it as much maxis and maxis recolors as possible (same reason). I was thinking something with a dj booth, dance floors, buffet, coffee bar, bathrooms, juice bar. No swimming or hot tub. Anyone have any ideas on a community lot to use? I've done some surfing here and at MTS2 but just can't seem to find just what I'm looking for.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / playing different families

I used to have this problem, but then I'd lose interest, start another family in a clean neighborhood, over and over.
Then I started a 10 baby challenge in a clean neighborhood, and just got really into the family. Gen 3 are starting to trickle into college now. I have 12 or 13 houses I play in rotation (time synced) and I use the info box on the houses (in neighborhood view) to keep track of what each family is supposed to be doing during each turn. An example:
Deanna 14TDL (teen days left), needs new clothes Debra needs golden anniversary party for LW Dane has 2ToDL (toddler days left), needs to learn to walk Max needs to skill
