Title: Cloning a house
Post by: mustlovenicole on February 13, 2008, 04:23:11 pm
I really like a house in Bluewater Village that came with OFB. Is there anyway I can clone it, because I want to make a whole street of them. Is this possible?
Thanks.

Yes it is.

From the neighborhood screen that the house is in click rhe house like you would if you were going to play it. In the pop up box where you click to enter the lot on the left side there are a couple of buttons. one says package lot. Click it, it will give you 2 choices, package lot to file or the exchange. Choose package to file. Let it do its thing and it will tell you that it placed the file in your packaged lots file. It's one of the sub-directories under your Sims2 folder. Exit the game and run the sims2pack file ans it will place it in your games houses bin. Now you can place it where ever you want. At least this is the way I do it.

or just place it somewhere, then put it into the bin again, and then it should be there like every other house you do it with.

Or if the house is inhabited just move it to the bin,you can use it as many times as you want.
