Happy 4 th of July, everyone.

 This year I wasn't away on vacation so I worked on making outerwear (coats) for the slim bodybuilder, something they really needed. I used Marvine's suit mesh and some maxis textures. And alot of photoshop alterations to get everything to line up. Hope you like them.

You must load Marvine's mesh below for these to work.

This problem was just noticed recently by me and I spend alot of time in bodyshop. All the "color-binned" black hair (custom and maxis originals) have off-colored scalps

Nor does it change or go away with different custom or maxis skintones. Thsi is restrict to only black binned hairs. The brown, red and blonde work fine as do all the customs not color binned,

I removed my custom defaults but the maxis defaults had same problem. The only thing I have done recently is remove GunMod camera text files and put the maxis ones back. Also I downloaded the new Mustang from sims2.

I checked in game in CAS and this problem does not exist there just in bodyshop. The only thing I noticed was how badly some of louis' scalp match to the skin at the back of the neck. I really gotta work on that problem.

Any ideas are more than welcome and very much appreciated.

These are Louis skins for the Plantsims modified to aligned to Warlokk's HI-RES default body mesh. Warlokk's mesh is not required for  these to work. Except for upper body realignment and some recoloring and the vines these are pretty much standard Louis skins. I used the Louis green skins and slightly lightened some of them. I arranged the vines on the body more the way tattoos would be done rather than all over. Babies, toddlers and children have a vine above their left nipple. Teens, adult and elders have vines as shown on the adult pictures here.




The DEFAULT "rar" file (contains both green and brown wilt defaults). You need to download both for your plantsim to maintain these vines. The pictures above only show the green "state". The brown wilt skin will show when the plantsim is unhealthy. It looks just like the green skin except the skin is a pale dirt color with brown vines. You need the Seasons EP for the default skins to work. The custom skin attached can be used without Seasons.

I was so thrilled when Marvine told me she was making a new mesh for the slim bodybuilder that I couldn't wait to see it. And as usual, she surpassed all my expectations. Thank you so much, Ju.    (1st)

3/18/07 added additional sweater/pants combinations.

I thought it was only me but someone else also brought up the recent problem of getting error messages when trying to open or save the RAR files from the various threads.  The other person was getting them trying to download from iNSIMADULT. I have been getting them more often now, especially when trying to download from MTS2.

I provide two examples below:

http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=217623 get an "end of archive" message and one of the meshes disappears from the file. I am sure it is fine as no one else has complained.

I use the free WINRAR program and today I downloaded the latest 3.62 version but the problem remained. I use Firefox as my internet access.

So, as I was writing this I thought, "self.......what happens if you try downloading through Internet Exployer instead of Firefox?" So I did and the files opened fine.:smt120

The only conclusion I can gather is that WINRAR has been modified to work better with Internet Exployer than Firefox (big surprise as both are made for Windows). Perhaps this will help others who are having problems lately. Try downloading through your Internet Exployer if you are using Firefox and having problems.

These are showerproof modified Louis skins with the female's upper body reshaped and realigned to Warlokk's classic pinup shape.

 The elder females will retain the adult female shapes when showering (no more droopy grannies). Dress them accordingly.

These modified Louis (simcribbling) skins have black hair on 5 different skintones. There are skins for both the normal Maxis male and Marvine/BBBoy's marvelous slim bodybuilder shapes. If you want to use the slim bodybuilder skins you must download the mesh file "meshes_ju-beos_slimbb-barbie.rar" provided below. Thank you Marvine for this great body mesh.

The Xhairy has medium black hair on the upper chest, upper + lower abdomen, thighs, arms and legs. This hair pattern is slightly different than the Xhairy red skins I have in another thread because I like to mix things up for more realistic looking skins.

There are defaults of the maxis size skins[/B] in various combinations, choose only one of each (S1, S2, S3 and S4) for a set of four. Just put them in your download folder. Make sure you have no other custom default skins in your download folder or these will not work. When you no longer want to use them, remove from download folder.

There are 3 different hairy versions on a light skintone:
Hairy males have a light sprinkling of reddish hair across their chest and arms, lower stomach and legs only.

XHairy males have denser hair across chest, arms ,legs, upper and lower stomach.

XXHairy males have even denser, curlier hair everywhere (back included). This is not a skin for the weak at heart or those who fear hair.

THE SKINS FILES IN THIS POSTING WILL REPLACE YOUR CURRENT MAXIS DEFAULT SKINS. The body shapes will stay the same as you normally see in the game. These skintones are considered "barbie-safe" except the females upper torso has realistic details.

These are modified Louis (Sim Cribbling) skins that have been altered to line up the female's breast details to Warlokk's defaults 34B meshes. These skintones will work without Warlokk's meshes also.


They will replace your existing defaults (showerproof). Simply place these skins in your download folder. To stop using them simply remove from your download folder. I was looking to do a skin set that would incorporate BBBoy's slim body builder for the guys + Warlokk's 34C body for the females. In essence if a male was created in CAS using this skintone they would have a slim body builder body and a female created in CAS using this skintone would be a Warlokk 34C. They could in theory pass on genetically to their children the slim BB mesh for boys and the Warlokk 34C mesh for girls.
 Now I know that BBBoy combined his slim body builder and his athletic girl mesh together in one skin. I was looking to do the same with slim body builder and the 34C mesh. Any ideas on how to do this?
