Title: alpha editable text on sim....
Post by: dynasty on March 13, 2008, 05:38:06 pm
I just cant get this "alpha editable" away from this sim. it seems to be the necklace. everytime I put it on her, the "alpha editable" shows up, I take it off, alpha gone... redownloaded the lace and mesh, and it still shows up...
can anyone please tell me how to disable the alpha editable text here????

here's a picture so you can see what I am talking about

It looks like the words somehow got on the alpha of the necklace recolor and so are showing up on the skin when the sim wears the necklace.  Does it happen only with that outfit? It could be a mapping issue with that outfit and the necklace.  If you want, you could always open the necklace file up in body shop and take a look at the alpha file.  If that text is there, just fill it the text with black, reimport and the words will go away.  :)  You could also let the creator know what's going on and see if she (or he) will fix it.

You can check in simpe or with bodyshop like kalyn said but if the text isn't there then its caused by the original textures missing or the link to them is corrupt.
Is the neckless available for other ages? might check those...
