Looks like you might have corrupted cc in your game.  Try removing your downloads folder and delete the groups.cache file located in the sims2 folder and see if your sims are back to normal.

If so, something in that download folder in causing all this mess.

From the mod description I am reading, it does not sound like it is suppose to stop sims from dropping plates if the action is cancel but I could be wrong.

It seems to only stop other sims from forcing one to move and drop a serving plate.

For any further questions you have about that mod, you are better to go on MATY site since they are the one that created the mod.

Like I said above, notownieregen does not stop the game to load the template that comes with any EP's which will add townies/NPC to any hood you load for the first time.

You need clean/empty templates to avoid the game from adding those unwanted sims.

Just go read both post I linked you too, they explain in details why you need those templates to achieve what you want.

No it doesn't change the genetics.

When creating an alien in CAS you must have testingcheat enable and press shift+n while in CAS for the Alien skin template to appear.  A pop-up will appear confirming you are in debugging mode.

Then you will see that you can choose the alien (among others) skin template which do have the special ears and eyes.  You can then modify the sim the way you would normally when you create a sim.  Just don't change the skin though or it will turn back into a normal sim.  You can use a default replacement alien skin without any problems as well as eyes.

Notownieregen as far as I know only stop the game from generating new Townies if you happen to move some in or kill any.

It won't stop the game from creating those default Maxis townies/NPC upon loading your hood or subhood (like downtown/uni for example) for the first time.

For a clean AL hood you need Empty and clean templates which do not have those default townies/NPC attach to it and you will need to create all of them by yourself.

I linked you above to a post at MATY site so you can have info on how to use them and get them.  I am not sure if one for AL is out yet though.

Still it is not normal that this option does not appear, you should resolve this problem since it could cause other issues.  I am personally thinking it could also be a phone mod causing this.

Completely remove your download folders then delete your groups.cache file and see if the option appears, if so, something in your download folder is causing the option problem.

Both Pescado from MATY site and Twojeffs from Simbology site have mods that does this already.

Just look around on their site and you should easily find them.

After seeing the new updated Community lot skilling mod for EP8, I was wondering if it would be possible to either add that option to that existing mod or make a new one so sims can gain hobby enthusiasm while they visit community lots.

And if sims are not gaining enthusiams on hobby special lots, can it include that too please?  I never notice if they were or not, sorry.

I second this request.

First thing to try is to delete your groups.cache file located in the sims 2 folder.

Normal that some of your building stuff disappear since you remove the cc.

The best would be to post your question directly at the SimPe site on which they have support forum.

Happy that fix your problem.  That file sometimes gets corrupted so if you ever experience a similar problem it is one of the first thing to try espacially when you just added new cc or remove cc.
