Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Can I delete these files?
|
on: August 08, 2008, 01:25:03 am

I agree. If you want to delete a neighborhood, it is way safer to do it within the game then to delete files from your folders outside the game.
If you do not know what those N001-N002, G001 etc folder are, do not mess with them.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I have no idea what this is....

This looks to me like either a missing or a bad mesh.
You could try to delete your groups.cache file to see if that will solve your problem. It is in the Sims2 folder.
If it does not help, try removing all your cc clothes and meshes and see if things are back to normal. If so, something in there is causing the problem and you will have to manually isolate it.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Why is my toddler bald???
|
on: July 28, 2008, 07:25:39 pm

Bald toddlers can happen because of the cc hair it grew up with do not include that age stage.
To resolve it right away, you can go to a mirror like suggested and choose another hairstyle or wait until it grows up like mentionned already and hope that the cc hair does include the kid stage (most of them do).

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Cassandra Goth's glasses - missing?

I just check in CAS in my game (all ages) and they are showing for females of all ages but not for males higher then kids but if I grow a male kid up to elder, it keeps them but they do not show in the list! Weird.
As for bodyshop, it is the same as in CAS. They are showing for me. I have all ep's install except the Pet ep and no stuff packs.
I did not install that recolor so you know.
I would try to remove that recolor and see or remove any other cc glasses you have to see if they will show up. It could be that the maker either forgot to mention it or did not realise its creation was replacing those.

I doubt this is a thing that come with the game. I have no clue of what objects you are talking about.
If you want more info about this mod/hack object make sure to read the help file that came with it or visit the site you got it from for further info or ask question on how it works on that site or in the thread of it.
People here are not aware of all the mods/hacks available on all sites you know. :-P

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / HELP!

Shape will vary on all sims, it is part of their DNA so it is normal they do not look like the ones you download. What you are downloading is only the eye color, not the shape.
Also sometimes they apply make-up on the eyes they posted the picture of which can make them look different then what you expected.

You will need to extract it first using SimPe. Here is a tutorial explaining how to do that, only follow the Step 1 part: Tutorial-Giving your in-game sims a permanent make-overIf you do not already have a sub-folder called "savedsims" in your sims2 folder you will need to create it before you extract the sim. Once it is done, just look in the downloads section and check the info post on what info you need to supply and how to upload sims on this site.
