Hi All--

I've decided to create a separate post for the CAS Collection files, for organizing the BodyShape outfits.  This post will be updated with the new collections as the sizes are completed.

*IMPORTANT*  These files do not contain any outfits/meshes, they are just for organizing them once they're installed.  You must still download the outfit sets separately for these to do anything.

The Bodyshape Bottoms Collections contains 4 collections, one for each hip size 32, 36, 38 and 40.  These have all of the 34B Default Top sized outfits, as well as the Bottom Separates.  This is the same one that was released with the Bottoms Set.

The Bodyshape 34DD Top Collections contains 1 collection, for all of the 34DD Top Separates and Full-Body outfits in all hip sizes 34-40.  It also contains the Teen D Tops and Full-Body outfits.

To install, extract the collection packages to your My Docs\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections folder.

You can obviously continue to add outfits to these collections, either future outfits released by me, or recolors by the other folks making such wonderful clothes out of my meshes.  These are provided as a starting point.

I have also included the .bmp files I used for the Collection Icons.  If you wish to use them to make your own collections, place them in your Icons folder found in My Docs\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections

Hopefully, these will help you organize the rather large amount of clothing that will be coming out for the BodyShape series.

*UPDATE 12-10-06*  I have added collections for all the other sizes, and updated the 34DD collection.  These collections include EVERYTHING I have created for each top size to date.  I have also added a pack of all of the icons I used to create them, that you can use to make your own collections.

*UPDATE 4-28-07* I've added collections for the newest Bodyshapes, the Classic Pinup, Renaissance Gal, Fashion Model, and BootyGal.  Each new set includes the icon as well.

*UPDATE 4-30-07* Added PowerGirl Collection (oops!)

It has a Collection that contains them, yes... the ones by me anyway.  You still have to get the outfits themselves separately though, they won't all fit in a 60k file... :D

This is me, idly biding my time until I can get my hands on more bottoms to recolor...

...but don't mind me.  I'll just send them off to write a novel in their panties.

A novel?  Or letters to Penthouse....

They're coming eventually, I promise... all the sizes will be completed in time.

I don't know what's happened, but now my game crashes whenever I try and put anything into a collection.  I don't as of yet really have anything in the collections, as the game crashing has tended to stop me from doing that. . . the only thing I can think of is the collection files I downloaded here.  It's the only thing I've ever done with the collections.  Any ideas how I can fix it?

Well, I doubt it's my collection files since I have them installed here, but you could try moving them out of the Collections folder, and see if you can add things to the default Maxis collections.  If that still crashes, then you know it's something else installed that's causing the problems.  Generally, your best bet is to look at the things you most recently installed.

hate to be lame... But how do I even allow my game to be able to use the new body types:
Warlokk_BeosSkn_34Bd-32_Tan.package
Warlokk_BeosSkn_34Bd-36_Tan.package
Etc.

I have other "default" nude skins, but I am unable to get the "Create Family" function to see the extra custom skins.

Any help would be appreciated, or a pointer to a thread that explains this.

The skintones all appear under the Custom Skintones section, and must have the associated meshes installed as well.  All the skintones are now found in the Complete Nude Collection (http://www.insimadult.org/showthread.php?t=20158) found at the adult site, with all the meshes in a nice convenient package.

When you say installed, you mean put into the "download" directory, right?

I have the files in the download directory, but when I try to hit the "custom skintones" there are not options.

Any other things I am not doing correctly?

Also... I see references to CAS, what is this?

OK, I have to ask, since you're posting these questions in the post about the Collections files... you DO have the meshes and skintones themselves installed, and not just the files posted here?  These are only the Collection files to help sort the skintones and clothing, the meshes and stuff are NOT included here, they must be downloaded separately.  Start with the link I posted, the rest of the set is stickied in this forum.  If you DO have them, then I have no idea... make sure custom content is enabled, I guess.

CAS is Create-A-Sim, the in-game Sim-making part.

I downloaded all of the other files (all of them), then unzipped them to the "download" directory.  Then started the game.

Is there another step?

Hmm, no that should do it, like I said as long as custom content is enabled in Options... you should see the skintones in the Custom Skintones section, and all the clothing items/meshes in their various categories.

Weird?!  I have other Custom Content in the game.  Not sure what is going on.  Do I need to do something with the Default Skins  or anything like that?

Nope, although custom defaults look better, they're not required in any way.  If the meshes, skintones and clothing files are all in the correct folder, they should just work.  Especially the clothing, if they show up then the rest should definitely be working.

Don't know what happened, but I deleted all the collection packages and then the game let me make new ones.  Lucky for me I hadn't sorted all the clothes yet. . .

I've finally created collections for the rest of the sizes, and updated the 34DD collection.  I also put all the icons into a pack for you to create your own collections.  The new collections are sorted by Top size, with all the outfits in all the bottom sizes in each set.

Okay, maybe this is a crazy question, maybe not.  For some reason I can create one of your collections in CAS, but I can't add any clothes to it.  Do I need to delete my thumbnails??  Appreciate the help.

Hmm not a clue here, I just put them together in my game and uploaded them.  It may have something to do with expansions, but I doubt it... I have everything up to Glamour, but no Pets or Seasons yet.  I don't think that would cause the problem though... try asking around in the general help sections, I guess.

I've added collections for the new Bodyshapes here, each one contains the icon file as well, and includes all of the outfits for each size I've released so far.  No recolors are included however... you'll have to do some work... ;)
