Title: Question
Post by: Prince Avalanche on July 02, 2010, 05:55:49 pm
Is it possible to change the outfit of a existing Sim in The Sims 2 or not possible?

Can you be more specific? I don't think anyone will be able to help you, if they don't know what your talking about. Do you mean change your playable sims clothing or an NPC (Non-Playable Character) Are you new to the sims franchise? I remember not knowing how to change a sims apperance haha! -Sigh- those were the days.

I know that there's a mod out there that will in fact change a Sims clothes.

I think Squinge made it.

When you click on a Sim, you can change his/her clothes to something different, but, not the same type of outfit. You can't change from everyday to everyday. You can change from like everyday to sleepwear. Sleepwear to gym clothes....

I think the InSIMenator does the same thing....Can't remember.

Aww thats so cute! ;D It's always cool to see a new player. You can just click on a sims wardrobe or dresser and it will have the option to plan outfit or change to another genre of outfits like sleepwear, swimwear, athletic etc. etc. This might also come in great handy, if you don't want to go all the way to the shop to buy your sims clothes. http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=225251 All you have to do is register an account at that site, and you will be able to download the coat hook. Just make a new folder called downloads inside your sims2 main folder (if you need help with that just give me a pm or post a help thread on here) and put that in there, load your game and stick it on any wall and your sims will be able to buy clothes from home just like at a shop. Well hope I have helped; and happy simming!  :D

Would a dresser let me change them into Satyrs or not? Just asking.

Is the satyr thing an outfit? It's a body mesh right? It should, yeah, as long as you buy the outfit at the store or with a mod first.
