I never even noticed someone had replied-I thought everyone had deserted the sims forums  shocked

I welcome critique-helps me get things tight, but I couldn't even understand what the poster meant so huge thanks for deciphering that for me -I'm a stickler for matching things-think I may have OCD  Grin

Hi All

A little something for you as I've not been around for a very long time-just a wee re-colouring of some bedding and blankets.

Anyway you get:

Maxis recolours of:
Crib Bedding
Changing Table
High Chair
2 beddings
Wallpaper

And 4 Jonesi blanket recolours. Any objects that are slaved to Jonesi's blanket will show these textures too. You can get Jonesi's fabulous blanket at Black Pearl Sims here
And you can get Impish Parody's single blanket mesh here. These recolours will show up on any Jonesi slaved mesh you have.
The rug mesh is by Helle at Sims2Artists (slaved object), which you can get here.

18  Welcome to insimenator.org / The Welcome Wagon / Not "new" but old person returning (yet another dramatic re-entrance) on: August 28, 2012, 08:57:32 am
Hi All

Not a newbie-in fact a very oldie, but not been around due to RL getting in the way and disrupting my Sims life  rolleyes Thought best to introduce myself to all the new folk I don't recognise  tongue

I used to do quite a lot of recolouring Sims2 objects in my time, mainly nurseries, maternity & toddler clothes. Don't know if I'll be definately creating again, but it certainly looks possible as my hubbie is working away a lot (thousands of miles away  Cry ) this yr and I only see him every 4 weeks.

So Hello to people who don't know me and apologies to all the oldies who are now fed up of my sporadic appearances  blush
19  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / *sigh* want to play TS3-but want good graphics on: July 17, 2010, 07:28:17 am
Hi Peeps

I not the most PC illiterate person about, but I don't know enough about this. Sooo, if any of you experts would like to help me, it would be much appreciated. I want to play TS3 but my PC just can't handle it on high graphics-I have 3GB ram, IP4 & Radeon X600 card. So it meets minimum, but it looks poo. I've seen other peoples pics from the game and they look amazing and I'm jealous! So looking at a new PC and it has this:

Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 860 (2.80GHz, 8MB) with a 1.8GB NVidia GeForce GTX 260 and 6GB (1333Mhz) DDR3 Dual channel memory

Would that make it look all clear and sparkly like other peoples?

Thankies in advance

Nyxie Your Sims are beautiful. I hate to be a pest in asking, but what graphics card/RAM do you have for your simmies to look so good. I have 3GB ram IP4 & Radeon X600 series-so pretty old, and I don't even play my TS3 as the graphics look that bad. But I see other peoples and I am sooooo jealous and want to play Explode

Obviously a lot of things to sort out as my Mum passed 4 yrs ago, so just me and my sis getting the house ready and sorting through paperwork. Anyhoo...........

Things are now relatively normal and my sims addiction is returning with a vengeance-I have a lot of downloading to catch up on  Tee Hee So,  Hug2 to the guys that a still around and a big hello to all the peeps that have joined in my absence YAY

P.S. I think TS3 is poop, sorry-had to add that  Evil

24  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / WCIF Bedding match curtain mesh (slave) **Found** on: December 03, 2009, 06:57:39 pm
Hi

I had some maxis curtains that had been overridden maybe to match all the Maxis bedding and CC bedding-think its called a slave mesh. Anyway, I've deleted it by accident  rolleyes-cannot locate it anywhere and can't remember where i got it. Anyone amy ideas?

Thanks

Thanks Guys, Yes, I use CI to install lots, and I run it every now and again to check, just in case. the other hoods are fine, have tried Veronaville-for some reason i've never used that, and its fine. However, what I did notice, was on the hoods never touched, there were only the neighbourhood files in the folders, i.e no vacation, suburb files, obvioulsy cos I hadn't chosen them yet as they're unplayed. But when I copied over the N001 file to restart PV, when I looked in it, it had Uni 001 and the vacation files (the package file, .png etc) were still there. The only thing I can think of is that they didn't delete when I copied it over. Does that make sense? I've deleted all the filed bar the N001 files and I'll load again tomorrow to see if that works.
Oh, and thanks caffeinated.joy, I was just losing my rag as it seemed everyone had the same suggestion even though I said I knew it wasn't anything I'd DL'd, although I should have made it clear that I use CI.

I tried it with my whole Downloads folder removed. All files that come with the packed house go in there-so yes-ALL files were removed.

I know you guys mean well in trying to help me, but I know what files I have, I know what hacks I have, I know what house pack files I've unpacked and I have played with a clean game, without any CC whatsoever. So, other than repeating what other people have said, does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks

Yep-tried it all. Even tried it without any custom content.
28  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: restart neighborhood on: November 24, 2009, 03:03:34 pm
Thanks Nalia-but its not hacks as I have not downloaded any hacks for a long time and Uni is fine in all my other neighbourhoods. Nothing appears-they do the call, then a pop up comes up and says to do it from the hood view.

Wii Fit.
Well, in reality, the balancing, I hold onto the cat post. The stepping, I tap my foot on the board. The weigh in, I put my 2 fat cats on the board-therefore I have the Wii fit age of 9yrs old!
