Well, you have to enter the lot(with or without a sim family), then type in the cheat, exit the lot to make it work.. and then reenter(with or without a family XD). It really is that easy.

I am sorry about that. I hate the limitations of MAC.. makes things like sharing sims more complex than it should be.

Natasha's doe-eyed look is really thanks to the make-up she wears. She has a skintone modified by me(just lightened and an abdomen replacement from a different skin) and eyes by me.. if you're still at all interested, I could send you all of Natasha's custom content and you could attempt to make her, as you suggested once before.
