I bought Bon Voyage & the Prima Guide over a month ago but I have never installed it.  I've been reading posts on this website & on The Sim Watch @ Yahoo, a post that is supposed to be read by the designers of the game. When I can understand what you guys are saying, it blows me away.  I am thinking of returning the BV game & guide to EB tomorrow after all I have read.  I think they will take it back under their store policy since I never opened the case seals. I have a large extended game w. over 60 houses & businesses in Pleasantview w. it's subsidary colonies of Montreal (downtown), Bluewater Beach, El Paso (on a Strangetown map) & Rio Grande.  There are over 350 Sims existing electronically in this maze. There are active farms that actually make a living for the Sims that farm there.  I've sat & stared at the wall for quite a while & concluded that I couldn't start all this over just to add vacations.  Thanks to all you people that posted, I think I'll keep playing with what I've got.  Bon Voyage to BV & it's Prima Guide.  Roger9.

For Bev in NY & other simmers-- I found a mod patch at Palladin's Site (www.simwardrobe.com) that stops Sims from bursting into flames from overheating. According to Palladin-- and he claims to have gone into the code program lines added to Seasons-- a sim with body temp. over 70, has a 1/100 chance of bursting into flames every 15 game minutes.  Simbody temp. of 70 is way below 100 which is the temp. of heat exhaustion for sims. The EA designers seem to be ghoulish in this last game add-on. I'm picking up all my hot tubs & placing them in each house owner's inventory for now. I'm testing this new mod from Palladin in Roswell, New Mexico (Strangetown, to some of you).  The biggest problem is neighbors who drop by to visit & hop into the hot tub while I'm busy looking after the average 6 sims in the household. They sometimes stay all night in the hot tub & risk self-immolation. Yeah, turning into a Roman candle. Ka-poof. On the other hand, I had a guy do the Military obsticle course for 4 Sim hours in deep snow in his underwear & he hardly even got cold. He got a body point, too. Tough nuts, these sims. Roger93.

Re the coffee cups. The stupidity is with the game designers.  They think it's cute for these little electrons to do dumbass stuff like take the coffee cup out to the little table you have by the mailbox, marching through rain & snow in their underwear. They could have designed the sims program so simmies could put their empty coffee cup down on the dining table, a counter or any free nearby surface but they had to be cute & drive you nuts.  The program sends the little simmies to the nearest coffee table height surface first, including those lighted boxes you put outside so you can find the mail in the dark of night. Just a note to say how much your neat bods have changed my game. A couple of weeks ago, I loaded InSeasons & it's working quite well. And now that I have your attention, if only for the moment, is anyone making winter coats, gloves,etc. for the BBB type guys, the body builder girls, the SBB cool types & the pumped up teens?  Hey, you wonderfully creative types have already created fur coats for the bodybuilder, boots-- really nice hot boots-- I know.  I have them in my game.  How about using some of the existng boots n' gloves add a coat over existing jeans & write a line of program that says it's winter gear. I know it's a new mesh-- I know I'm asking for the moon.  But you can fool this program most of the time, you guys. You can tell the computer that a down vest w. bare arms & leather wrist straps is winter wear & the simmies will register warmth while they build a snowman. Thanks. Roger9.

I put a BBgirl in my game & named her Molly Malone. She's pretty & likes to wear her reddish brown hair shoulder length. When she got married, she had to cram her body into a unattractive gown loaned by an athletic girl friend. When will some designer make clothes for the BBgirl? Just because she's big & very beautiful, doesn't mean she doesn't like pretty things. Roger9

When I downloaded & installed Audrey Hepburn in my game, I found you had included a note almost apologizing for attempting to copy this famous film star.  Wow. This isn't an attempt, this is an achievement. You have created the magic of the person in the Sim-- something that is beyound any copying. I have downloaded 5 of your pixie skins. I have put a male & female in a Pleasantview house. This couple have pixiedream skins & they are falling in love. I used the eyes from the pixiefiend set.  I want to see if the game will use my choice of eyes with your skin & the maxis default hair I selected, for the natural born children. Do you know already if the offspring will be born with your skins? By the way, I love your skin for a fienish pixie. That is so suprising.  Pixies are not fiendish in folklore. They are mischievious-- like maybe they will put your car keys in the kitchen cupbords when you are sure you left them on the bedroom dresser. But fiends?  So I've downloaded the fiend skins but I'll bet you that when a little red sweetie comes home from school on the bus, he/she is gonna run upstairs with that A report card & want praise from his momma. I was looking at your layered creations up close in Create A Sim-- it's amazing the way you cut & stitch electrons as if they were really cloth-- folded under, stitched, textured & real. to Sandy-- the Master of Magic Meshes. I'm the one whose getting very confused. I downloaded the following meshes & clothing (skins are skin, right?) that you still want to tweak some more.  I downloaded the low-rise jeans, zipper sweat jacket w. letter & the sports jacket w. slacks, using your recent photo as a guide. They look fine in Create A Sim-- I don't have them in the game yet. On the other thread where you mention that your BBMT mesh didn't show up in the shower. I got confused-- my TBWatts459BB_Barbie skins all show up in the shower as nude, all work very well (with the small problem of the neck & head fitting with a slight seam & this is only evident up close). Otherwise, I'm slowly testing all the skins I've variously downloaded. Most designers don't consider showering a problem. Some skins go from SBB to BBB in the shower, some go from BBMT to BBBT in the shower. Most skins go from 'whatever' to Maxis default in the shower. Maybe I shoud finish my research, write a thesis paper on the subject & submit it to Sim State U. for a Ph'D.(sim).  You think? Roger9

I don't think you got the e-mail so I'm reposting it here.  First of all, I'm dancing around dazzled at the fantastic colors, drama, ideas, shapes-- you've blown my mind & all the pipes on my organ. Wow. Now that my breathing is back to normal-- wanna know what was in the private message? No you don't. A request. Someday, when you're not too busy-- (roars of laugher at this point)-- I'd like you to have a look at doing the mesh & skin for a kilt. It could be done in the SBB mesh style & the BBMT style. Yeah, I'm a bit of a Scot. It would have to come down almost to the knee to be traditional but think of the fun. Wireless Guy would go nuts travelling all over Scotland getting color pics of Scottish boys so he could recolor all the Highland Clan tartans.  Bless you & keep you all, Roger9.

The secret of your amazing success, I guess, is making the most difficult tasks appear easy.  I downloaded all of the mesh files a few days-- was it a week ago?-- and I cannot find a nude barbie to hang CB's cock & hair on.  Lots of meshes do that for Maxis size 'teens' (13-27). If you are creating a Teen Titan, there's no problem. I'm missing a nude mesh & skin in the BBMT size-- it's not showing up in my Create A Sim. Everything else is flawless. roger9.
