SIMS 2 GEISHA CAREER FOR ADULTS

*With Custom Clothing and a Custom Reward Object!

This career has 10 levels, with chance cards on each level.

Will not overwrite other careers.

EP ready.

Level 1 - Okiya Maid
Level 2 - Geisha School Student
Level 3 - Junior Maiko
Level 4 - Senior Maiko
Level 5 - Junior Geisha
Level 6 - Senior Geisha
Level 7 - Independant Geisha
Level 8 - Famous Geisha
Level 9 - Okiya Okaasan
Level 10 - Okiya Obaasan

There are no elder or teen versions of the career at this time.

The geisha career uses custom clothing. The kimono meshes and textures for levels 3 - 8 were made by Chriko of http://www.2-f0r-u.de/ and are used with her permission. THANKS Chriko! And thanks also to Vagrant at MTS2 for the custom clothing packages.

YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE TWO MESHES AND SIX TEXTURES HERE:

http://www.2-f0r-u.de/femadcas19.htm

(Without these files the career will still work, but your Sims will dress in normal clothes to go to work on levels 3-8. It's definitely more fun to have them in Kimono!)

Clothing for levels 1, 2, 9, and 10 are recolours made by me of Maxis meshes.

NOTE: The career outfits will work for adults only on all levels below 9. For levels 9 and 10 they will work on adults or elders. So if you have a Sim in this career who happens to become an elder when they're lower than level 9, they'll look funny when they get dressed for work. :)

There are no custom hairstyles or face makeup so you'll have to do that yourself if you want it.

Custom icon was made by me in PaintShopPro.

Custom Reward Object was also made and hacked by me (my first ever hack!) Thanks to Echo's tutorial on MTS2! It's a painting called "Mysterious Geisha" that does something special when a Sim looks at it.

This career, particularly chance card dialogues, is based largely on the book "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden, and is therefore only as accurate as that book is in portraying the career of a geisha. Also this is the Sims, so real-life accuracy declines even further.

You CAN give this career to male Sims, but I wouldn't recommend it. The clothing won't work, though I do have dialogues for both male and female just in case anybody wants any male geishas in their game.

Have fun!
