Title: Re: Game error and crashing Post by: rwills on January 18, 2009, 04:36:14 am Strictly guesswork, but the error definately relates to your video hardware.
May be a glorked already installed item. Try re-installing (or updating) your video driver. Also re-install Direct X. As it occurs after time spent gaming, it may be a matter of overheating. Cleaning dust from your machine and its fan (and making sure the fan is running) might help. Ditto for carefully reseating the video card (if you have a video card). It might have worked slightly loose over time. It also might be a sign of a video card which is in the process of failing. |
