Title: Wardrobe doesn't work anymore Post by: sandini_power on February 08, 2009, 12:08:46 pm Well I had this problem for a long time now, but I thought it would just go away but it didnt lol
So everytime I tell my sim to change clothes by using the wardrobe, the little wardrobe pic will go to the upper left corner of the screen and then disappear instantly. Also if I hover my cursor over the wardrobe it will just cancel any action my sim is currently doing. Sometimes the game spits out objects which you can't see at all onto the floor, so something like that might be blocking the path. You can try using this cheat: boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true and see if an error message pops up when you try to initiate using the wardrobe. When you say "wardrobe", did you mean a dresser or a closet? And you haven't mentioned what your latest EP is. Try swapping out the one you have for a maxis dresser. If the problem stops, then you were using a custom one that wasn't compatible with the most recent EPs/SPs you have.

I tried and I even updated the game, itz still doesnt work. It is so weird because if I just move the cursor over any dresser, it will cancel my sim's action (ie. If my sim was sitting, and I hover my cursor over any dresser it would cause my sim to stand and not sit anymore.)
