I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but...

I have a Dell that is four years old, and I recently bought The Sims 3. I can't play it, because my computer's video card does not support Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher, and DirectX 9.0. I bought a new card, but it turned out to be the wrong type; my computer requires a PCI card and I bought a PCI-Express...now I can't find a new PCI card. I don't know where else to look. Anyone know if and where I can find a PCI card that works on a Dell Dimension 3000 with an Intel Pentium 4 CPU Processor, and is compatible for my new game?

P.S. My computer runs on Windows XP.

OK, thank you.

Best buy carries them.

Alright, next time I go to Fort Wayne (we don't have a Best Buy in Wabash) I'll check it out.  Thank you.

Does your computer have a VGA slot if you don't have a PCI-E slot available for a new video card? Unfortunately, many new video cards today are PCI-E.

PCI and PCI-E are not the same, and they don't have the same slot types to install the video cards in.

Here's a link to check out the wares. They sell the wares for reasonable prices, and they do have their own warranties to allow you to return an item that don't work straight out of the box.

TigerDirect.com (http://www.tigerdirect.com/)

We ordered a few things from the site a few times and had no problems with them. They provided reasonable reviews on the products and have far more details than what you see on the box if you were at a store.
