There are some mods out there that suppress wants for expensive items, but they are global mods which would affect all Sims in the game. So, two other possibilities: 1) Using full-feature mods such as Insimenator or Blender or other less full-function mod items*, you could re-roll the wants of any particular Sim 2) You could fulfill the car want without purchasing the actual vehicle by using a want-fulfilling hacked item such as the painting here, whose purchase fulfills the car want: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=122834 * For example, the Hypno-wheel at Simslice ($$): http://www.simslice.com/thesims2/ts2objects-pg10.htm Also at the booty (simslice-ts2-hypnowheel.zip): http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/booty/simslice/objects/ .
