Sorry everyone, that I don't have a picture of the house, but I will describe it the best I can.
I know that I saw this house on MTS, and I have been searching literally for a couple hours for it. I can't find it no matter what keywords or filters I use (I tried starter homes, cottage, ranch, farm, beach, worn, weathered, old, rustic, etc). I'm not sure if the creation has been taken down or if I am somehow missing the right keyword.

The house itself is small, only one or two bedrooms (I'm fairly sure it was only a one bedroom), and the outside of the house looked weather-beaten. It looks like a beach-style home on the inside, very light wood floors, lots of windows I think. I remember specifically that the house had a porch, and the porch roof was slatted/not fully covered, like the ceiling on this porch:

The roof was in white wood, I remember that clearly.
It was also only a single story and I was pretty sure that it had grass in the yard.

Does anyone have any idea which house I'm talking about? I'm still looking, but I am having no luck finding it.

Do you remember anything else about the house that was a bit unusual beside a white roof? I tried finding this sort of house at MTS too, but many of these homes are 2-story. Do you remember anything unusual about the creator?

Sadly I don't. I just remember that the porch had the slatted roof, and the rest of the house (I am pretty sure) had a normal roof. I can't remember the creator at all, but another little thing about the house, I think the front door is kind of beat up looking. I'm pretty sure the porch floor was wooden as well.

EDIT:
I started feeling really sick, so I was able to relax on the couch and look through all 200 pages of residential houses. Still no luck. I think the creator removed it.

Was the whole house beat up or just the front door?

The only one I can think of that has that sort of porch roof is the fixer upper that was created for a challenge.

Can't think of any other ones using that flat roof.

The whole house looked a little beat up, wind blown.
But only the porch had a flat roof. The rest was average roof.

I like that last one though. Cool house.

Didn't find something exactly like the slatted roof shown in the picture, BUT I did find something very similar to give that "slatted" look to the porch using lattice work.

I used this before for my country homes, and the floor tiles do act like a flat roof tile.

This person posts all over the place, showcasing all these amazing-looking houses that are never offered for download. It is possible that you saw the picture somewhere on MTS (the house was made in Maxis-match style because of An_na and she posts/posted on MTS) and thought that the house was for download.

That one picture is very very similar, and I agree, Engram, that it is something to look for at MTS. I know I have seen them before, but I can't remember exactly what they're called. Rafts or rafters come to mind.. I'm going to go check MTS again and maybe TSR (free section) to see if something like that had been done.

Okay, I found a custom mesh that resembles what that last picture showed from the link you gave us, Engram. Padre from TSR made some pieces to go with the column. That particular stuff is free. He also has recolors for them. They look quite like the OP's picture.

He has recolors for that somewhere on there under Meshes. There were a lot of stuff there so you will have to go through all of the pages and subfolders he has to find the recolors.

Thanks for all the help, guys. That house is gorgeous. It's not the same one, but it is very pretty.

It's possible that I made a mistake and just saw the house somewhere and thought it was an MTS download, but I'm pretty sure that's where I saw it. The lattices help, though for me to make a house similar from memory.
