Title: Freezing while buying a crib? Post by: PinkCherri on February 09, 2010, 09:58:07 pm Everytime that I try to buy a crib, my whole computer freezes. It's not the custom content, I've removed all of it already. And I've even tried creating all new files. (Like I renamed the 'The Sims 2' under the 'EA Games' folder, and created a new one when I started the game again.)
And this only happens with the baby crib in the buy mode. Nothing else? I have no idea why it does this? Title: Re: Freezing while buying a crib? Post by: MaddyLou on February 13, 2010, 04:55:56 pm Game sometimes makes things really weird.
In my case, the maxis changing table and highchair disappear from the buy catalog and next time I play they are there again. And it happens all the time. I have an idea for you, did you try to delete this two files: accesory.cache, and groups.cache? They are in the "sims 2" folder in "my documents". Don´t worry, the game makes a new one next time you load the game. It helps me to play faster when I have too many downloads. Maybe you had a corrupted custom content that hasn´t been cleaned from your game, so it´ll help you. |
