Does anyone know where to find some custom recolors the maxis-made historical chimney that comes with the apartment life expansion pack? If so, please reply, in any way, shape, or form. I found a recolor of the La Boheme Fireplace (The one from Apartment Life), and I believe its only one recolor. If I come across some more, I will edit my post with the links. http://awesims.sixty-ten.net/2008/11/20/the-arts-crafts-set/ scroll down about halfway and you will see it in a green color. That is the kind of chimney recolors that I was looking for. Does anyone know where to kind one? Nothing on Piggy sims (where I usually find maxis recolors), nothing on MTS2, nothing doing a search for it on Google. Only I found, was fireplace recolors.
Title: Re: recolors of AL chimney Post by: caffeinated.joy on June 27, 2010, 04:05:45 pm The only chimney recolours I know of are the Recoloured chimneys by Numenor (http://hideki.modthesims.info/download.php?t=39859) on MTS (and the recolours made by Kimsie (http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?tag=chimney+recolors&go=Go&gs=1&f=38&gs=1)), but it doesn't work with the AL chimneys, as far as I know.
According to Numenor, enabling colour options for the chimneys is hard to do and, after NL, the chimneys became rather unstable when the colour options where added to them and Seasons has a tendency to disable this recolouring feature at times, which is probably why it hasn't been done for the AL chimneys. |
