Title: A question about moving sims Post by: CannibalJeri on August 18, 2011, 05:52:19 pm So, I've read that you shouldn't move sims to different neighborhoods simply by putting them in the lots and houses bin because the game creates excessive memories for them, but I was wondering if I did that with a brand new neighborhood, how long would that neighborhood last with the old sims? or would it simply be corrupted immediately by them?
Title: Re: A question about moving sims Post by: Theraven on August 18, 2011, 11:00:34 pm You could extract sims with SimPE (http://pixel-trade.livejournal.com/16091.html), and make new and clean versions with Bodyshop. That's the safest method.
You don't have to make a sims2pack file, but you have to clone the sim and use the clone ingame. Just remember to delete/move out the extracted sims files as soon as you're done using them. I wouldn't recommend it more than once and I really didn't want to make the family all over again. Follow Raven's advice if you don't want a BFBVFS in your hood.
