I love my daughter. You know why? Because that very bright girl has been showing me how to mesh AND how to successfully get my very first own made 3D meshes into the game!:grin: <--- BIG smiles here from me today! So, Becki, here's a big squishy hug from your Dad, thank you for helping me. Ok, here are my very first objects straight from the drawing board of Matt's Workshop! I've made three different dining tables...that somehow came out gold!:lol: Don't ask me how as I have no idea, they just did! :lol: I've tested them fully in the game and they do work! (Miracle! lol). I've provided some screenshots of me eating my breakfast at them and also of them on their own. Zip files are attached also for each. I made them with all the expansions installed. I'm not technical on these things, so I'm crossing my fingers that they work for you! If you have any problems, let me know and I'll try and help you. At some point, I will be making some chairs to go with it...hopefully!:lol: I've got some holiday time coming up soon, so I'll try to make some then. Today...I am fed up! I've just come home from a long day...and Becki is refusing to talk to me! Therefore, my little helper is no more as she refuses (in a note to me, lol) to help me with my meshing. She said I've got to do it all by myself now. Don't ask me why she said that as I have no idea! It hurts, so that's why I'm miserable. I thought I'd just say and let you know that I don't think the chairs are ever going to get made now. Never ever. I had such high hopes for them! I can make the chairs, but I don't know how to get the textures and whatnot from the table file into the chairs file. It's all gobbledegook to me! Jess asked around today, but nobody wants to help it seems. *sighs* Without my little helper, I'm lost! Can I ask a question? Does anybody know how I can do this? Jess was told that there's stuff over at MTS2 that tells you all about it, but I don't know what I'm looking for or where to start! I'm such a noob at this! If anybody knows of a tutorial that tells me how to get the glass and gold textures from the table file into the chair file, or even if there's a way in which I can change the globals somehow from a table global to a chair global, I'll be so so so so happy! This time a hexagonal one. I've decided to say that for the moment, it's best to use them for display tables I think as I still can't do the chairs. They look nice in OFB businesses, I had a try last night and they looked quite snazzy!:lol:
