Title: Can not go to create a Family in Pleasantview! Please Help. Post by: Jolee on February 10, 2007, 12:00:50 am I hope I put this in the right spot. I have been playing pets since it came out. Clean installed. I have only played in Strangetown and Veronaville. I decided to try Pleasantview and for some unknown reason I can not go to create a Family, it will crash and say an application error has occured. I have tried the other towns and they are still working fine..just everytime i try Pleasantview it crashes.

Post by: BeosBoxBoy on February 10, 2007, 01:57:30 am Jolee - it is possible that Pleasantview is corrupted or did not update properly during the installs. you can replace the neighbourhood for Pleasantview quite easily:
DELETE the folder N001 here: My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods\N001 COPY the N001 folder from: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods\N001 to My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods This will replace any corrupted files that may be causing the conflict. If it continues to be a problem, it may be a bigger issue than a corrupted neighbourhood file Title: Can not go to create a Family in Pleasantview! Please Help.
