Title: Please Help Post by: ancienthighway on March 30, 2007, 03:44:57 pm Without a back up, your only option is to start downloading again. When an uninstall takes place, the data files are hard deleted.

With each new EP, changes have been made to neighborhoods, which impact on each lot and sim in that neighborhood. To uninstall an EP, yet leave the neighborhood, lots and sims intact would surely cause a crash when you next tried to run a game.
It would be nice if the SavedSims and Downloads folders were left in place, but considering EA not officially supporting the user developed mods and CC, I won't be holding my breath waiting for it.
