Title: Odd Question Post by: TheDebofNight on April 17, 2007, 01:31:22 pm Yes I have one of those odd questions, but as this is the most helpful place that I've ever been too as far as actually getting information is concerned. I thought I would give this a try.
What I'm wondering is this. Can a monitor effect the way that your game plays and show up. You see recently I upgraded to a 19 LCD Flat screen Monitor, after having the standard one that came with my computer. Now I'm not saying that my computer is the best in the world or that the graphic's card couldn't use a boost but I'm noticing a lot of difference between this monitor and the other one that where there before. So I have to wonder if that was causing some of the game play problems that I was having? So am I insane or is it possible for an older monitor to cause problem's like that? Title: Odd Question Post by: caffeinated.joy on April 17, 2007, 05:35:11 pm If you had a particularly old CRT monitor, upgrading to an LCD can make a difference in what you see. This was definitely the case with me, I found. I had a CRT monitor I bought almost seven years ago which I got rid of in favor of a really nice LCD monitor and the difference was phenominal. Now, whether or not this could have been the culprite in all of the problems you were having, I can't say.
