my sims keep taking showers. it's getting annoying. they get in, they get out, they get in, they get out etc... it's stupid. i can make them stop sometimes by distracting them but when they have a spare moment, they'll go have a shower.

i took out all my hacks, it still happened, i don't have any major hacks installed... only a few minor hacks... i'm really confused.
has anyone else had this problem?

oh and im having trouble with fires too. my sims got into bed and the bed caught on fire. sounds suss... but that was the case.

one more question - why does the seasons penguin keep going into sims' houses to look at their fish trophies??

any help will be much appreciated:)

1.) There seems to be a bug with the new shower that came with Seasons. When it's present on a lot, Sims develop an obsession with showering all of the sudden. Take it out and replace it with a different one; should solve that problem. If not, invest in some skin cream for them; I imagine all that showering is going to leave them quite chapped. :P

2.) The fires are a result of our new annoying friend: spontaneous combustion. If a Sim gets too hot, there's a chance he/she will burst into flames. There's a hack at SimWardrobe (http://www.simwardrobe.com/) that'll get rid of that; look for 'No Random Bursting Into Flames' under 'Fixes.'

3.) Easy: the Penquin just wants that juicy looking fish! Just a bit of silly humor Maxis threw in. I've always thought it was cute.

lol thanks for your help. I've never used the new shower that came with seasons but I guess I can live with constant showering. At least they're clean. and thanks for the link to the hack, i'll try it out :)

Can I ask if you have Inteen for Pets version in your game?

No, I don't. I took it out when I got Seasons, been meaning to update.
